Strictly Come Dancing pro Giovanni Pernice confirmed “chapter completed” as he made a major career announcement on social media.
The dancer, who has reportedly been in hot water at the BBC over his methods of training celebrity partners, has finished his Let Me Entertain You tour, which travelled around the UK bringing his epic performances to fans in the flesh. Giovanni shared a video to sum things up – but one line left fans fretting.
Giovanni wrote on Instagram: “Another chapter completed! Let Me Entertain You what a journey! Thank you to my partner in crime/friend/producer @paul_stc and everybody at @strictlytheatreco for another amazing production!! We smashed it mate.

“Thank you to my leading lady/star @laurenmayoakley for sharing with us your incredible talent and be able to cope with me every day. Thank you to my cast and crew… as I always say the show would be nothing without your hard work and commitment.
“Thanks to all of you who came to watch the show! Hope you enjoyed. Into the next one! The Last Dance… now my question is… do you really want to miss my last solo tour? You know me… bigger and better. It will be the best one I have done so far! Just saying.”
It was the announcement of Giovanni’s “last” ever solo tour that had fans fretting, with one begging: “You have the most amazing talent and I’ve loved every one of your shows… don’t like the words ‘The Last Dance’… but I’m sure you’ll have something else in the pipeline?!”
Someone else said: “Take a rest by all means but don’t forget us and please come back – your fans will be waiting!” While a third echoed: “Tickets already booked, just hope it’s not really your last tour!! Take a break you deserve it… just come back sometime!”
In a trailer for the new tour, Giovanni said: “Ladies and gentlemen… welcome to The Last Dance.” He said of his 2024 tour: “It’s been incredible again and again. Thank you so much for your support.” Giovanni has performed to more than half a million people in his solo tours, receiving more than 700 standing ovations.

“Next year is my last chance, so I go big and then I go home, so I’ll see you there,” he told fans.
The Italian stallion has confirmed that he’s planning to “take a break” after his 2025 tour, telling fans: “After performing in front of over half a million people for seven years in row, I plan to take a little break after next year’s tour, so book your tickets in advance for Giovanni The Last Dance.”
