A body language expert has analysed Strictly’s Katya Jones and Wynne Evans apology video after viewers were left concerned after Saturday night’s show.
On Saturday (October 13), Wynne left fans worried for Katya as she appeared uncomfortably moving his hand away from her body and shortly after abruptly ignoring a hive five from him.
Katya has since spoken out after fans accused him of acting in an ungentlemanly manner in an apology-style clip. Katya said: “I need to make something crystal clear. The hand incident that happened on Saturday night was a very silly inside joke between Wynne and I.

“So even the idea that it made me feel uncomfortable or offended in any way is complete nonsense. It’s actually absurd.”

However, we spoke exclusively to Inbaal Honigman, celebrity psychic and body language expert, who revealed things weren’t adding up. Inbaal said: “Their apology clip is probably the most telling piece of footage, as they are both evidently uneasy. Wynn’s smile is a frozen, fake grimace known as a rictus grin. His lips are stretched but his eyes don’t join the smile.
“We can clearly see a skin fold between Wynn’s eyes which signifies tension. Katya’s face is perfect and doesn’t betray any emotion, but as she speaks, she shakes her head from side to side, as if to say ‘no’.
“When this happens, the person doesn’t agree with what they’re saying. So when she says ‘we were just messing around’, while shaking her head from side to side, it really says that they were not just messing around. There’s more to this than meets the eye.”
Speaking further about the clips on Saturday’s live show, the expert added: “Katya and Wynn’s clips make for uncomfortable viewing – not only the little snippets on the show, but more so the apology clip.
“The creeping hand clip is bizarre because both Katya and Wynn’s faces are frozen in a showbiz expression – wide smile, teeth showing, eyes straight ahead. Their faces never change – not when Wynn’s hand creeps onto Katya’s waist, nor when she places it back on her hip.
“It is unlikely to be an inside joke between the pair. That their facial expressions remain identical suggests that nobody is laughing, there’s no indication that this little game is raising a giggle, as there is none of the shoulder-shake, sharp-breath, jump associated with a surprise laugh. In fact, Katya’s waist and legs shift away from Wynn which shows that she’s uncomfortable with being so close to him.”

Commenting about the high-five clip, she added: “The eye-roll clip holds evidence that all is not well between the two. After Katya rolls her eyes at Wynn’s attempt at a double high-five with her, she rubs her hands together with her fingers interlaced, showing that she is nervous. At the same time, Wynn looks around, making eye contact with some of the other stars, and laughing heartily. He’s either ignoring his dance partner’s tension, or making it the butt of a joke.”
