Taylor Swift fans come up with gross hack to ‘not miss a second’ of Eras concert

Dedicated Taylor Swift fans are coming up with bizarre hacks to make sure they don’t miss “a second” of her Eras concert.

The 34-year-old singer is set to kick off the Australian leg of her tour next month and excitement is building. One Melbourne ticket-holder has even suggest “adult diapers” might be a good idea to ensure they don’t miss any songs while waiting in line for the toilet.

Taking to an online fan forum, the anonymous Swiftie wrote: “A bit of a silly question, going to Melbourne N1. Is anyone considering waring an adult diaper? I just REALLY don’t want to miss a second of it.” The suggestion ignited a lively discussion, not just on the topic of absorbent undergarments, but also on the challenging decision of which songs could be forfeited while nature called.

Some argued Taylor’s hit Shake It Off was the ideal toilet break song, while others thought songs from the Evermore or Folklore eras could be missed. Other fans heaped praise on the unique diaper idea while others wondered if it was a serious post.

The Eras show is an stadium spectacular with a setlist of 44 songs and a running time of nearly three and a half hours. So “holding it in” might not be an option for some concert-goers. It comes after floods of pornographic deepfakes of Taylor were shared on X, formerly Twitter, spreading to millions of people before action was taken and searches have been shut off.

It’s not the first time deepfakes have run rampant after Artificial Intelligence brought out image creating software, but images have now been shared on the social media site, despite its rules. Pornographic AI images were widely shared online hitting over 27million views.

The images showed the pop star in sexually explicit positions and according to US media, the posts also received 260,000 likes in 19 hours before the account posting them was suspended. If people now search Taylor’s name on X, a dead link comes up with a message reading “Something went wrong. Try reloading.”

The posts went against X’s policy which stated: “You may not share synthetic, manipulated, or out-of-context media that may deceive or confuse people and lead to harm.” Fans of Taylor shared their outrage online in order to attract more attention to get it shut down. Protect Taylor Swift started trending on X after the profile shared the images, with one account focused on “controlling AI” shared a post which read: “It’s great that Swifties have got the biggest pages spreading her deepfakes banned, but they should never have had to deal with this in the first place.

“We can protect Taylor Swift and *everyone else* from the threat of deepfake sexual imagery. We’re here to *ban* deepfakes.” Another person wrote: “There should absolutely be a ban on using AI to create sexual content period.”
