The Chase viewers left concerned as host Bradley Walsh sparks health worries

Fans of The Chase were left rather concerned for host Bradley Walsh as they were convinced that he “wasn’t well”.

The popular presenter was back for another episode of the hit game show on Thursday evening (March 7) with a brand new set of contestants. But not long after the show got underway, viewers’ attentions turned to host Brad, who many deemed to be unwell.

Heading straight over to X formerly known as Twitter, fans shared their thoughts on the host and whether he needed medication for his soar throat. One social media user said: “Bradley doesn’t sound very well today.”

Another penned: “Brad needs a Fisherman’s Friend, me thinks. And a Strepsils afterwards.”

A third shared: “Brad sounds like he needs a strepsil.” While a fourth viewer added: “What have they done to Bradley’s voice on #TheChase ???”

Despite many wondering if Brad was OK, the presenter was still on top form with his comedic disposition. He was also dishing out his familiar catchphrases on the ITV programme.

The Chase offered viewers another nail-biting episode on Thursday afternoon as quizzing legend Paul ‘The Sinnerman’ Sinah stood in the way of the team winning big. First up to face the chaser was Simon who managed to bring an incredible £50,000 back to his team.

The Chase made for compelling viewing

But things became rather shaky not long after, as player number two Claire was sent home and player number three Buzz only squeezed through with £3,000. However, fans were left outraged once again when the last contestant Rosemary decided to take the £-8,000 offer.

Viewers at home couldn’t believe what they were seeing and headed straight to X to complain. One spectator wrote: “Woah -£8000 is a whopping insult to the other players.”

Rosemary went for the low offer

Another joked: “If you ever took a minus offer on #TheChase you’d have to come off Twitter.” A third said: “If she gets back, I am truly sorry to the other lads but I won’t want the team to win. All because of that minus taking.”

Meanwhile another fumed: “At one point in time, the chasers used to RIGHTFULLY denigrate the free-loaders who take the minus. But now they brownnose them!”

Despite fans’ complaints, Rosemary was an essential player in the final chase. But unfortunately, their £45,000 victory was ripped away from them when they were caught.
