The Traitors series three will be “bigger, better and darker” according to axed star Paul Gorton.
The business manager from Manchester is hoping to make a shock return to the Scottish castle when the BBC One series returns after enjoying the experience so much as a contestant on series two.
He got banished by his fellow players after the Faithful correctly worked out of he was on the of Traitors but he’s keen to give it another go in a bid to take home the eye-watering £120,000 prize fund he missed out on.

Speaking to Daily Star, Paul said: “Next year is going to be bigger, it’s going to be better, it’s going to be darker. There’s going to be even bigger games and I wish I was there. Season three if you’re listening, bring me back. I would one hundred and fifth thousand percent go back.”
Opening up about a potential All Stars version of The Traitors, he added: “Imagine I’m there, Harry’s [Clark]there, Amanda’s [Lovett] there, Wilf’s [Webster] there and Diane’s [Carson] in there but she’s a Traitor. Imagine all these characters coming back in one castle. I’d love to do it again absolutely and none of us would trust each other because we’ve done it before.”
The third series of The Traitors was confirmed in Novemebr last year, week before the second season even aired. Kalpna Patel-Knight, Head of Entertainment at the BBC, said at the time: “The massive unscripted hit The Traitors will be back for a third series. Expect to see more psychological gameplay, exciting challenges and of course Claudia at the helm. It will be a thrilling ride for both avid fans and newcomers to the series for sure. The BBC will always remain faithful to The Traitors.”

Discussing what he’d like to see in season three, Paul revealed: “I’d love to see more family connections in series three. I’d love maybe if you win a shield you’re allowed to gift it, that would be cool. “My advice for anyone who is going to apply for series three is do not sit back, do not not show your personality because it’s over in a blink of an eye and if you come out of that show and think ‘people didn’t really get me’ or ‘I didn’t really say anything’ you’re going to regret it.”
