New hosts Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard have proved to be unpopular with This Morning fans.
The two presenters made their official debut on the ITV daytime favourite, taking over from former presenters Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby. However, fans are not impressed and have already slammed the pair over a “rude annoying habit”.
During a segment on Wednesday’s (March 13) programme the two newbies were reviewing fast food takeaway pizza’s from various outlets. They were joined by Vanessa Feltz and Gyles Brandreth who were feasting too.

However, distracted fans were not impressed as they blasted the group, particularly Cat and Ben, over their “rude” eating. One person penned: “Cat speaking with her mouth full of pizza just two minutes after she said how much she loves good table manners #thismorning.”
A second and third added: “Don’t speak with ya mouth full Ben #ThisMorning,” and “Why are they eating pizza?! Talking with their mouths full!! Rude!!! I thought they were talking about restaurant etiquette!! #thismorning.”
Meanwhile, former Good Morning Britain star Ben and So You Think You Can Dance host Cat made their debut earlier in the week on Monday (March 11). It was the first time the TV presenters had hosted together.
Previously, Ben took centre stage on the daytime favourite with Holly Willoughby and Cat with Rylan Clark and Craig Doyle. Their new confirmed role will see the duo host from Monday to Thursday each week.
Co-star’s Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary will continue with their usual slot on Friday’s. However, the Brummy star is taking a break until April. This so she can spend time with son Aiden and moving home over Easter.
On their opening show, Ben, 49, said: “Hello, it’s Monday March 11, welcome to a brand new week.” As Cat, 47, chimed in with: “We are so excited to be here … This show has been a huge part of our lives for so long, so to be actually standing here with you, it’s good.”
Ben followed up telling viewers: “It is very special, we are thrilled to be here.” He went on to thank a number of celebrities who had been in touch with well wishes.
Cat’s former SMTV Live co-stars Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly, who provided a “word of warning” to Ben. Another good chum of Ben’s Chris ‘Kammy’ Kamara was also on hand to offer Cat some advice relating to her new on-screen partner too.
