This Morning star Alison Hammond was quick to label her co-host a “cheeky monkey” after he admitted to watching her in her dressing room.
The fun duo was back on screens on Wednesday (April 10) as they took the reins for the week. But at the start of the show Dermot made a candid confession.
When Alison complimented his attire and said he looked like he matched the set, Dermot said he tries to see what Alison wears before the start of the show. Curious, Alison asked whether he was peeking in on her.

And Dermot didn’t hold back on telling her that it was. Dermot said: “I always just now, I always see what you’re wearing.”
When Alison asked him how, Dermot said he had his way. He then said he looks at her “through the keyhole”.
Alison replied: Is that what you’re doing? You cheeky monkey!”
The news comes After Alison was reportedly disappointed for missing out on being the full time successor to Holly Willoughby on This Morning. But the former Big Brother contestant has landed a major new presenting gig with the show’s rival broadcaster, BBC.
The new show called Alison Hammond’s Big Weekend will see her offer a glimpse into the homes and lives of celebrities, according to the Beeb. In the six-part series that will air on BBC One and iPlayer, Alison will get to know each guest over the course of 48 hours, “serving up big laughs, big revelations and a whole load of celebrity realness”.
Sharing the news of her new show, Alison said: “I’m so excited to serve up some big lols and tons of OMG revelations on the BBC as I spend some quality time with some of the UK’s favourite celebrities. When I’m on a mission no secret is safe, and trust me no stone or cupboard will go unturned!”
Kalpna Patel-Knight, the BBC’s Head of Entertainment added: “Alison is one of the most warm-hearted presenters in the UK and it’s no surprise that big name celebrities are lining up to have her spend the weekend at their homes. It’s going to be a blast!”

Meanwhile Creative Director for Entertainment, Mel Balac enthused about the appointment: “Alison is the perfect woman for the job. She wears her heart on her sleeve and her incredible openness, energy and warmth will shed new light on the celebrities she spends the weekend with. When Alison comes knocking it’s a special appointment you won’t want to miss!”
Alison also has another major presenting gig on her hands. Following the death of legend Paul O’Grady, Alison will be taking over his show, For The Love of Dogs.
