This Morning’s Alison Hammond sent tongues wagging when she presented the show sporting what appeared to be a dazzling diamond ring on her wedding ring finger.
The 49-year-old host was seen with the eye-catching bling while hosting Friday’s episode (May 17) with Dermot O’Leary, just weeks after going public with her new beau. But when the studio caught wind of the engagement whispers, the TV star reassured fans: “It’s just a cheap ring.”
She explained that she had simply switched it to her left hand – the traditional spot for engagement rings. The news comes after Alison went public with her masseur partner David, whom she’s been seeing for several months.

It is understood she first met the Big Brother winner during a £150 massage session last year, reports OK!. The broadcaster gave fans an insight into her new romance on the show when Alison mentioned feeling welcomed by new neighbours.

She confessed to viewers that it was nice not to feel “lonely” as her co-host Dermot O’Leary quipped back: “You’re hardly lonely.” According to The Sun, Alison often sought massages from David amidst her hectic filming timetable.
A friendship eventually turned into a flame, and they are said to have begun dating towards the end of last year. She recently spoke about her relationship on Rob Beckett and Josh Widdicombe’s Parenting Hell podcast.
She confirmed: “No… I’m not single.. I’m dating. I’m dating!”. Alison went on to talk about her 19-year-old son Aiden’s reaction to her new fella.

The broadcaster added: “The person who I am seeing at the moment, he is on his Instagram and he is like ‘Yeah I like him, he’s not too in your face’. Aiden is on it.”
It comes after the star left her co-host in stitches when she admitted to pretending to be pregnant in order to get a seat on a train. The TV star shared her mortifying moment with show regular Gyles Brandreth when the 76-year-old revealed travellers had started to give up their seats for him on public transport.
The mum-of-one shared how envious she as she shared how she usually ended up standing for ages because no one ever offers up their seats for her. Laughing, she leaned over and held her tummy as if she had a baby bump as she told others: “I can’t wait for it to happen to me.

“They never offer me a seat, I’ll be standing there for ages. Pretend to look pregnant and they are still not moving! I am standing there for ages and my feet are killing me!”
Alison clamed she didn’t think people wanted to give up their seat on the train because “half of my butt” takes up their space.
