Unsurprisingly, the reality star was inundated with messages from fans and his TOWIE co-stars in the comment section, TOWIE legend Lauren Goodger penned: “So exciting, congratulations. Can’t wait to try.” Dani Imbert added: “Proud of you.” Big Brother 2023 star Hallie Clarke gushed: Congratulations Hottie!!”.
Junaid later took to his Instagram Story to confirm that due to his work commitments he will no longer be flying to Bali with the rest of the cast to film the scenes for the brand new series of the ITVBe show. He wrote: “I’ve just shared some very exciting news on my page which I cannot wait for!! However due to the timing of this launch and my work commitments in the UK, I sadly will not be able to make Bali filming for @towie. Don’t worry I’m not going anywhere!! I will still be filming in Essex at the same time!”
It comes after Junaid opened up about his secret family tragedy on On The Record with Chloe B. He bravely opened up on his brother’s death, which happened a year after being chucked out his family home. He claimed his parents kept his sibling’s passing secret from him – and he was banished from attending the funeral to pay his respects.
“After moving to Essex and having no communication with my family, I was getting my life back on track,” Junaid told his co-star Chloe Brockett. “I had been sofa surfing because I had no money and got a message from a girl I went to school with. She said ‘I don’t know how to tell you this, but your brother’s passed away’.”
