The Only Way Is Essex bombshell Amber Turner is convinced the fights she had with her Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins co-stars caused her breast implant to rupture.
The 30-year-old was filming the ITV2 reality series in Bali when she spotted the lump in her breast. At the time the TV personality feared it could be breast cancer and rushed to the doctors to get it checked out.
Thankfully, the medics informed her that the lump was caused by a ruptured breast implant which leaked silicone into her lymph nodes. During her time on Channel 4’s Who Dares Wins, which was shot in Thailand back in 2022, she had several brawls with her co-stars including winner Gareth Gates.

The star now believes this to be the likely cause of her implant rupturing She said: “The only thing I can think of is that I did SAS and maybe I was grappling with someone or maybe when I had a fight with someone.
“I had a fight with Gareth [Gates]. It is crazy.” When she first felt the lump, the reality star was bracing for the worst. Thankfully, she breathed a sigh of relief after learning it was down to her boob job gone wrong.
Having gone under the knife twice before to perfect her cosmetically enhanced curves, this was a curveball she didn’t see coming, reports the Mirror. Once back on UK soil, the glam TV star didn’t waste any time getting a second opinion.
The influencer told The Sun: “I only had these [implants] for a couple of years and I will need to get the implants changed. They are not meant to rupture.”
Other celebs who took part in the gruelling series included Matt Hancock, Gareth Gates, Danielle Lloyd, and Melinda Messenger. In a twist of fate, last year saw Gareth snatch the title, leaving former Health Secretary Mr Hancock in the dust.
The politician was humiliated when he was told he failed the course because he was deemed untrustworthy. Pop Idol runner-up Gareth was over the moon with his win, admitting the victory was cathartic.
He explained: “It actually felt like I’d been preparing for this my whole life. The struggle with my speech and having to be mentally strong to hear them say [I had passed]. I was like, ‘Wow, this is incredible’.
He added: “I thought, at last, I’ve actually won a talent TV show and not come second this time. It was a massive weight off my shoulders. I’ve finally redeemed myself from being the biggest loser in the UK back in 2002.”
Meanwhile, Hancock had to mull over his less-than-glorious stint on the show, where he was slammed as “arrogant”, a “lying c***” and a “weasel-faced c***”, in addition to facing criticism for his controversial affair amidst the pandemic.
