Brazilian TV star Thommy Schiavo has died aged 39 after falling off of his balcony.
The actor fell from his second-floor apartment in Cuiabá, the capital city of the Brazilian state of Mato Grosso, on Saturday morning (July 20), police revealed. Surveillance footage reviewed by Mato Grosso police showed him sitting on the balcony before the tragic incident.
Schiavo went to lie on the floor before standing up, but sadly he lost his balance and fell over the balcony. The actor had gone to drink with friends at a local store before returning to his apartment.

The star, who played João Zoinho in the second series of Pantanal, was found face down and had no apparent injuries. His heartbroken dad, Horacio Ramos, has paid tribute to his son.
He told TV Frontiera: “It’s a painful moment, it hurts so much that there’s no way to explain it. We spoke every day, every day it was ‘good morning, good afternoon’, he would call me for anything, I would call him for anything.
“He was such a dear person. Thommy was a fantastic person, loved by everyone. The people at Globo are all in shock there. He is a very loved person at Globo. He went there and won over the people, with his simple, humble way. Loved by everyone.”
Ramos said hid son had only just finished filming a new TV show when his friends told his brother-in-law about the awful incident.
Friends and fans took to his social media page to pay tribute to him following his death. One posted: “Rest in peace, my friend! I found you those days itself, I was happy, with pretty cool plans… God Got You !!” Another posted: “Rest in peace, little buddy. May God comfort the hearts of everyone.”
A third wrote: “I was a fan of Thommy and I leave here my condolences to the family and friends. May God protect you all.”
Thommy is survived by his wife and a one-year-old daughter. His last post was a video montage celebrating his daughter’s birthday.
