Ulrika Jonsson has taken to her Instagram story to explain that she’s “not yet in sheltered accommodation” in the aftermath of her hospital dash.
The Swedish sensation, who rose to fame as a weather presenter before making her name as the host of Gladiators, recently suffered an injury that landed her in A&E. Sadly, despite her love of cooking, it could be time for Ulrika to address her kitchen habits as she seemingly can’t be trusted with a knife in hand.
She said: “First time (same finger) was ratatouille, which took me to A&E. This time, some other veg. Basically, the rule of little pink is: ‘Chop careful, betches.'”

The cut is undeniably a pain for the model, who will have to cover her injured finger while it undergoes the healing process. However, despite the infuriating circumstances, she’s remained in high spirits.
Likely responding to the concerns of her incredibly supportive 202,000 Instagram followers, the 56-year-old headed to her story to let all those waiting on her every word that she’s ok.
While the public figure isn’t in need of any extra care at the moment, it’s clear she’s aware of the concern she’s caused her supporters. With two finger injuries occurring in quick succession, she made light of the matter, joking: “How’s your Sunday? (Not in sheltered accommodation just yet..”
Her recent ordeal comes shortly after ex-England football head coach, Sven Goran Eriksson, bravely opened up about his terminal cancer diagnosis, much to the heartbreak of fans around the world.
The former gaffer engaged in an affair with Ulrika, while he was in a relationship with Italian lawyer Nancy Dell’Olio, 62. On January 11, Sven confirmed the news after a doctor uncovered his condition after he collapsed during a run.
However, rather than offering her sympathies, Ulrika said she “didn’t have anything to say”. Instead, the presenter uploaded a throwback image of herself, adding: “Look at me being all young all that.” She later told her fans: “I don’t have anything to say about Sven. #nada. Not a decent person.”
When the news of the affair first hit the public sphere, an enraged Nancy slammed the woman who’d be seeing her partner behind her back, claiming that she’d merely used the scandal as a ‘publicity stunt’. Ulrika denied the allegations, claiming she’d been given a false sense of security.
