This Morning star Vanessa Feltz left her colleagues blushing as she dropped a racy confession live on air.
The 61-year-old broadcaster was on the ITV daytime show on Wednesday (February 7) to discuss the latest news headlines with hosts Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Learny with fellow contributor Tom Swarbrick.
During a conversation about the older and younger generation swapping skills, Alison said to Vanessa: “You wouldn’t be on Instagram if it wasn’t for your younger children would you?” Vanessa agreed: “Absolutely, they had to drag me kicking and screaming away from my £8 Nokia which was perfectly fine.

“I was happy to not be online, I still haven’t seen any porn because now you’ve got to put glasses on to see it, which has taken the edge off the whole thing. I still think my kids really love me because when we go anywhere they say ‘ Do you need to stop at a letter box?’ and I always do because I’ve also got a gas bill to pay or envelope stamped.”
Alison asked: “Do you still write letters, Vanessa?” in which she replied: “I do love writing letters.” The former Big Brother star then turned to Dermot and pointed out: “You keep saying you’re going to write me a letter, still haven’t got it.” Dermot joked: “A little P45” leaving both presenters in stitches. It comes after Alison suffered a career setback.
A dance competition she was set to host has reportedly been cancelled before it even aired. The show, titled Clear The Dance-floor, won’t progress beyond the pilot stage, according to reports. An insider told The Sun: “This will be gutting for Alison, as getting an ongoing gig on the Beeb is seen as many a presenter’s ultimate goal. There were high hopes for Clear The Dance-floor as it seemed to tap into the same energy as Strictly, which she appeared on in 2014. But she won’t be short of work this year anyway.”
The much-anticipated show, Clear The Dance-floor, was initially billed as a “high-energy, primetime dance show”, with the audience deciding who stays and goes. Commenting on the matter, the BBC reportedly declined to comment. The news of the cancellation is another blow for This Morning presenter Alison. She had lost another gig with the BBC only recently – the singing game show, I Can See Your Voice, in which she was a judge, was scrapped by the corporation after two series.
However, a silver lining came last week when it was announced that Alison would be filling the shoes of the late Paul O’Grady to host his hit series For The Love Of Dogs. Alison acknowledged she had big shoes to fill, following Paul’s passing at 67 in March last year.
This Morning airs weekdays on ITV1 and ITVX at 10am
