Just when Vanessa Feltz finally felt “settled enough” to spend her first night alone after her split from fiancé Ben Ofoedu, he landed another blow.
However, the 61 year old, who ended things with Phats and Small singer Ben, 51, after finding out he cheated on her, has faced further embarrassment. Vanessa is reportedly feeling “mortified” after Ben publicly expressed his desire to date her friend Ulrika Jonsson.
He also criticised The This Morning star for ignoring him when he was out with his new girlfriend. Sex and relationship expert Annabelle Knight suggests that Ben’s casual attitude towards their relationship could reopen old wounds for Vanessa.

Annabelle told OK!: “He was so blase about so many things that are very serious facets of a relationship. It’s like rubbing salt in the wound.”
The expert added: “She’s spent a year cleaning, bandaging and sterilising her wounds, and she literally comes out and says, ‘OK, the bandages are off, I’m about healed,’ and then this happens.” A source revealed that the TV personality won’t let this “drag her back” to a bad place.
They explained to the same publication: “Vanessa is embarrassed and mortified by his comments, but she’s in a really good place. She just wants it all to go away now and she won’t want to go backwards.”
The TV star and Ben had a close call at a recent West End theatre event, where he was accompanied by his rumoured new girlfriend, reality TV star Precious Muir, 34. Despite sources saying Vanessa had “no idea” her ex was also there, Ben took to social media the next day, writing: “Reportedly, she saw me and it’s a shame she didn’t come up and say hello.”
In an interview with former Apprentice star Ryan-Mark Parsons, Ben stirred more gossip. He joked about his social media habits, saying: “I always reply to all my DMs, that’s why I’m in this trouble,” and mentioned his celebrity crushes actress Sheridan Smith and presenter Ulrika Jonsson.

Speaking about “gorgeous, stunning” Ulrika, Ben said he would “100% pursue her”. Ulrika, 56, was one of the first women to support Vanessa when news of the split first broke.
Annabelle added: “It’s humiliating for him to talk about people like Ulrika and Sheridan.” She continued: “As the ex-partner, you start to ask, ‘How long did they feel like that? Have they thought about them when we had sex?'”
She concluded: “You can quickly spiral into that thought process. It doesn’t matter whether you’re a celebrity, the hurt is still the same. But a celebrity has to play out their hurt in public for everyone to see, and everyone to have an opinion on.”
