Abbey Clancy and Peter Crouch seem to have been bitten by the Wimbledon bug as they were pictured enjoying a tennis match together while on holiday in Portugal
Couple Abbey Clancy and Peter Crouch enjoyed a game of tennis on holiday after Wimbledon mania hit. The married pair were away in Portugal when they must have had a burst of energy. Pictured on Tuesday, just after Wimbledon came to a close, the two got in their exercise gear for a game.
Model Abbey, 39, slipped into an all-black outfit. It consisted of a pair of skintight leggings and a matching strappy crop top.
The Liverpool lass could be seen courtside clutching a coffee, while she stood next to her £1,700 Miu Miu crochet tote bag and a matcha latte. She wore an oversized pair of black aviator sunglasses as well as white sport socks and Nike trainers.
Despite the physical activity, she glammed up a bit with a glittering chain necklace and drop earrings.
Meanwhile, former footballer Peter, 44, looked slightly more tennis ready in an all-white outfit. He wore a pair of shorts and a T-shirt, as well as striped socks and trainers.
Peter got stuck into the tennis game, while Abbey cheered him on from the sidelines.
The couple were enjoying some downtime away from their successful podcast, The Therapy Crouch.
Recently, the couple bickered over what they call an ice lolly. Abbey refers to them as a “lolly ice”.
But Peter wasn’t having it, saying: “It’s not a lolly iced. You know it’s an iced lolly.
“You wouldn’t say cream iced, it’s the exact same. You’re saying lolly ice but you wouldn’t say cream ice.”
Abbey fired back: “I don’t know why this riles you up so much.”
Peter told her: “You’re getting it completely wrong. It’s so wrong. It’s grammatically incorrect.”
It’s not the first time they’ve got into it on the podcast, after Abbey slammed Peter’s “barefaced lies” in another episode.
They spoke about Peter going out with his friends for a game of golf, but then not getting in touch with her during the day.
She said: “I want you to have fun, I know how passionate you are about golf. I want you to enjoy your time and have great times. But my weekly whine is the barefaced lying.”
Abbey went on to say she wanted Peter to text her and check in while he’s out.
He replied: “She knew where I was. I was at one of the lads’ houses where she knows the wife really well.”
