Our Yorkshire Farm star Amanda Owen has left fans worried for her after posting a new video from Ravenseat Farm, where she appeared noticeably thinner than usual
Amanda Owen has sparked concern over her appearance.
The TV shepherdess who shot to fame with her family on Channel 5’s Our Yorkshire Farm posted an update from her Ravenseat Farm in the Yorkshire Dales. However, fans seemed to be worried about her as she appeared noticeably thinner in the clip.
Amanda, 50, took to Instagram with the video showing her hard at work and tending her flock of sheep. She joked that getting her sheep in order was a “guaranteed way to lose friends”.
Greeting followers in the clip, she said: “Morning, and here’s another guaranteed way to lose friends. Sorting these out!” She then panned the camera to some of her children who were helping her out on the farm during the Bank Holiday.
Amanda dubbed them her “little helpers” and shared her appreciation for her kids for helping her out as she didn’t know she’d have company. She wrote in the caption: “Here was me thinking that I’d not have any helpers on a bank holiday weekend [smiling emoji].”
The TV star shared some sweet snaps of her with her kids as they helped her tend the sheep. However, many of her followers seemed worried about her health as she seemed to have lost weight.
One wrote: “I’m never one to comment on how someone looks, out of pure concern I really hope you’re ok & taking care of yourself”. Another commented: “No we’re actually concerned for her health.”
A third said: “It’s sad that Amanda’s significant weight loss is getting all the attention, but I’m concerned too. And it’s out of genuine loving concern for Amanda and her lovely family.”
Others believed it was inappropriate to comment on Amanda’s appearance. Responding to those, one fan wrote: “People say there are negative comments on here…… I think most are comments borne out of concern for such a lovely lady.”
Amanda and her ex-Clive shocked fans when they announced their split in 2022. The pair had starred together on Our Yorkshire Farm with their nine children.
They said in a joint statement: “Although we are no longer a couple, we continue to work on the farm and co-parent together, with our number one priority the happiness and wellbeing of our children.”
Discussing their split, Amanda told the RadioTimes: “Look, there are two simple facts: if he thought I was brilliant, and I thought he was brilliant, then we wouldn’t have separated.
“It’s a fact, isn’t it? But, you know what, that’s not unique, it’s just how things are, pressures, all the rest of it.” Amanda found a spark with Robert Davies but the pair split last year.
Clive admitted it was his “anger” and “constant fighting” that drove his ex-wife away. He told The Sun: “Looking back on it, I can see now that Amanda needed someone to talk to, someone she could trust, and at that stage, I wasn’t that person.”

Despite the split, Amanda and Clive still work together on the farm and co-star in Our Yorkshire Farm spin-off, Our Farm Next Door. The show features them renovating a property for their nine children.
