Avengers Doomsday is currently filming in London and an alleged plot leak has blown the story out of the water as fans prepare for another instalment in the Marvel series
Avengers Doomsday’s “plot leak” implies something very interesting.
The highly anticipated Marvel project is currently being filmed just outside London with filmmaker siblings the Russo Brothers, who helmed Avengers Infinity War and Avengers Endgame, alongside Iron Man legend Robert Downey Jr.
However, since Tony Stark perished in Endgame the Oscar-winning actor is instead taking on the role of the menacing Doctor Doom. This latest Marvel epic is expected to serve as the opening chapter of the MCU’s Multiverse Saga conclusion, leading into Avengers Secret Wars.
Based on the most recent rumoured plot details, Doomsday will essentially function as Avengers Endgame 2 and will explore the ramifications of the superhero squad’s timeline tampering.
Marvel insider Main Middle Man reveals: “From what I’ve heard all the time travel changes that the Avengers from the sacred timeline made in Endgame had consequences for the multiverse. This resulted in incursions, failed universes and chaos in the multiverse.”
“It was something that even the TVA could not control. In the Void there are characters who hate the Avengers for all the multiverse collapse they caused in order to save their universe. Not only that, but the actions of the main timeline characters in No Way Home, Multiverse of Madness, The Marvels, Loki and others also messed with other characters universes,” reports the Express.
Main Middle Man continues: “This seems to motivate Doom to assemble his team and attempt to take over the sacred timeline by stopping the Avengers. This includes destroying the TVA, which he thinks that they’re complicit, and causing Kang’s death at Doom’s hands.”
“Doom would give a speech about the Avengers’ selfishness in messing up other people’s universes for their own benefit. He would talk about how this has resulted in tragedies across the multiverse and how the consequences of their interference have arrived.”
Avengers Doomsday is set to arrive in cinemas in time for Christmas 2026.
