The BAFTA TV Awards 2025 is taking place on Sunday night and will see a whole host of famous faces in attendance – but how can you watch the glitzy ceremony from home?
The BAFTA TV Awards are rolling out the red carpet once again, with big names like Graham Norton and Nicola Coughlan in the running for some of the industry’s top honours.
The awards span categories such as Drama Series, Limited Drama, Scripted Comedy, and Reality and Constructed Factual, all featuring fan favourites. There’s also a Memorable Moment category, which includes iconic scenes from Gavin and Stacey and The Traitors.

This year’s glitzy event is set to take place at the Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall on Sunday 11 May, 2025. You can catch all the action from your sofa from 7pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer, reports the Mirror.
The star-studded ceremony is expected to run for about two hours, wrapping up around 9pm. For those wanting a glimpse of the red carpet razzle-dazzle, pre-show coverage will be available on YouTube.

There’s a fresh face taking the reins for the 2025 BAFTAs. After Romesh Ranganathan and Rob Beckett held the fort for the past two years, Alan Cumming will be stepping into the spotlight as this year’s host in a shake-up of the show.
When Alan was first revealed as the host, Emma Baehr, BAFTA’s executive director of awards and content, expressed: “We’re delighted that Alan Cumming will be hosting this year’s BAFTA Television Awards with PandO Cruises.
“He will certainly inject a playful sense of mischief and fun into the ceremony, so viewers should brace themselves for surprises at Britain’s grandest TV celebration on Sunday 11th May. The sheer quality, innovation, and breadth of talent in British television, both in front of and behind the camera, is unparalleled, and we eagerly anticipate honouring and celebrating these gifted individuals at our forthcoming awards ceremonies.”
Alan is most recognised for his role as host of The Traitors US, as well as his performances in GoldenEye and The Good Wife. His latest work includes an appearance in Doctor Who.
