Bianca Gascoigne has been rushed to hospital after suffering a horror accident on holiday in Turkey.
The star’s Turkish getaway took a terrifying turn when the model and reality TV star was rushed to hospital following a golf buggy accident that left her with a broken ankle.
The 38-year-old daughter of football legend Paul Gascoigne shared the ordeal with her followers on Instagram, posting photos from her hospital bed that showed her leg in a white cast, bruising and stitches.
Despite the painful injury, Bianca maintained her signature upbeat attitude, captioning her post: “Not quite the break I was hoping for this year.”
She also shared snaps of herself in a black bikini, makeup-free, as she lay in her hospital bed. In other snaps, she can be seen standing up using a walking aid, still looking as glam as ever.
The accident occurred shortly after Bianca’s recent breakup, adding to the challenges she’s faced lately, many of which she’s been open about with her followers.
Fans flooded her social media with messages of concern and support, wishing her a speedy recovery.
Bianca, who won Celebrity Love Island in 2006 alongside Calum Best, has previously expressed interest in returning to the show, calling it one of the best experiences of her life.
In a previous interview, Bianca shared: “I would love to go back on Love Island. It was such a fun time, and I think it would be interesting to see how I would fare now compared to back then.”
Now, almost 20 years on from her reality show crowning, she also shared an insight to post-show life. She added: “Since Love Island, life has been a rollercoaster. I’ve had ups and downs, but I’ve learned so much and grown as a person. It’s been a journey of self-discovery.”
