Nicola Peltz took to social media to make a ‘very important announcement’, unveiling a fresh joint project with her spouse Brooklyn Beckham, amidst their ongoing tiff with the Beckham clan. It’s thought that Brooklyn, 26, is currently caught up in a spat with his family, including father David and mother Victoria. The supposed feud is said to have ignited when Brooklyn and Nicola, 30, got hitched three years ago, and was further stoked when the couple missed David’s 50th birthday bash earlier this year.
Choosing not to comment on the controversy, Nicola hopped onto Instagram on Sunday evening to share her ‘very important announcement’, revealing that the pair have created an adorable Instagram account for their dogs.
Nicola posted a link to the new social media page named ‘pelzbeckhambabies’, which has already uploaded a picture of each of their dogs. The couple are doting dog parents to Bridalina, Lamb, Label and Angel.
The dog’s Instagram page only follows Nicola and Brooklyn, reports the Mirror.
This latest news from the couple comes hot on the heels of reports that Brooklyn is establishing a new charity dog shelter with Nicola in America. The Sun reported that the duo are launching the Peltz Beckham Foundation, aimed at rescuing homeless dogs and providing them with shelter and support.
In a thrilling career move, it was unveiled last week that she’s set to appear in the thriller Pretty Ugly and will also flex her muscles as an executive producer, marking her debut in such a role for a film.
Nicola has graced the silver screen in a number of flicks over the years, including the blockbuster Transformers: Age of Extinction (2014) and the upcoming Lola (2024), which showcases her talents as both writer and director. Just last week, news broke that Nicola is slated to share the screen with Jazzy De Lisser and Mary Stuart Masterson.
The script for Pretty Ugly is penned and helmed by Erica Dunton, known for her work on hit series like Ted Lasso, The Summer I Turned Pretty, and Outer Banks.
This wave of career updates arrives amidst whispers of a widening divide between Nicola and Brooklyn and his famous folks, Victoria and David Beckham. Adding fuel to the family feud fire, it emerged last week that neither Brooklyn nor Nicola are following his younger brothers Cruz, 20, and Romeo, 22, on Instagram.
Earlier this month, there were murmurs that Brooklyn might skip out on his little sister Harper Beckham’s 14th birthday bash. A source confided to the Mirror: “He took a stand and missed his dad’s 50th so he’s not likely to suddenly do a U-turn and forget everything that’s happened, as much as he loves Harper.”
The insider added: “He didn’t want it to turn out this way, and he’s always been really close to all his siblings, but he is a married man now and his priorities have to lie somewhere else.”
The insider went on: “He just doesn’t feel his family has treated Nicola well and now that he’s grown so close to her family in the States, he doesn’t really feel like he fits into the Beckham family right now.”
Brooklyn and his spouse Nicola wound up celebrating Harper’s birthday last week via social media, with Brooklyn posting a snap of the pair with his sister, captioning it: “Happy birthday Harper, we love u x.”
After tagging Nicola, she then reposted his message on her own account.
