Brooklyn Beckham has reportedly told his devastated parents David and Victoria Beckham he no longer wants any contact with them amid his ongoing feud with his family
The rift between Brooklyn Beckham and his famed folks, Victoria and David, has escalated dramatically – with reports emerging that he no longer wishes to have contact with them.
Allegations swirl that the friction stems from his marriage to Nicola Peltz, as Brooklyn appears to be ignoring their attempts at communication.
David, set to turn 50, is on the brink of being knighted in the King’s Birthday Honours list, earning the title Sir David while Victoria becomes Lady Beckham. However, it’s been rumored that Brooklyn was kept in the dark about his father’s upcoming knighthood, only learning of it through the media.
Insiders close to Brooklyn, aged 26, have indicated to Page Six his genuine excitement about his dad’s imminent honour, one he knew meant an exceptional deal to David.
Yet, another source with ties to the Beckham clan suggested otherwise to the outlet: “Brooklyn told his family he wants no contact and he’s not responding to those that try to connect.”
Then again, a different contact linked to Brooklyn refuted these assertions, contending: “Everyone’s focus should be David Beckham’s great honor,” reports the Mirror.
A source close to Brooklyn denied this and told Daily Star: “This seems to be another deliberate attempt to misrepresent the truth, and it only serves to distract from this honor being bestowed on Brooklyn’s father.”
This development follows last month’s stern message from Brooklyn to his illustrious parents and siblings, wherein he vowed to “always choose” his spouse Nicola Peltz amid suggestions that she’s the instigator of the widespread fall-out within the family.
A video surfaced showing Brooklyn revving a motorbike alongside his wife Nicola in Beverly Hills, with the caption: “My whole world x I will love you forever x I always choose you baby x you’re the most amazing person i know xx me and you forever baby.”
The post seemed to be a clear nod towards the ongoing family feud. This is the first public move either Brooklyn or Nicola has made concerning the evident split within the Beckham clan.
Just a few weeks prior, the couple were conspicuously missing from David’s grand 50th birthday bash, completely ignoring the event – a decision that reportedly left the Beckhams not only wounded, but deeply concerned.
Those close to the family have since suggested that David and Victoria’s eldest son is being ‘held hostage’ by his wife. “Brooklyn is now being referred to as ‘the hostage.’ He is in a situation where those who love Brooklyn fear that he is being controlled by Nicola and it is heartbreaking,” an insider claimed to Mail Online.
Sources suggest that David and Victoria, now aged 51, have essentially cut ties with Nicola following what they perceive as continuous tension and distance since her and Brooklyn’s £3million wedding in April 2022 at her family’s $76million Palm Beach estate.
Frequent absences and missed family gatherings have led the couple to believe they are now estranged from their eldest son. Brooklyn and Nicola not only missed David’s birthday celebration, but also a series of family events including a casual get-together at the Beckhams’ Cotswolds retreat, a holiday in France, a dinner at the posh London restaurant Core, and even a fishing trip in the Highlands with David and brothers Romeo, 22, and Cruz, 19.
Brooklyn also didn’t show up for a pre-birthday party in Miami at Cipriani in March. His social circle has changed as well; he was once close to Gordon Ramsay’s son Jack and Rocco Ritchie, son of director Guy Ritchie.
However, according to reports, Brooklyn no longer spends time with them either.
