Brooklyn Beckham ‘s ex has lifted the lid on what his famous family is really like after reports things aren’t going too well.
The eldest of the Beckham sons was absent from dad David’s birthday celebrations last weekend. It has been reported that although he and wife Nicola Peltz were in the UK, they did not meet up with the rest of the family.
Since, it’s been claimed that David and Victoria Beckham refused to meet with the couple for somewhat of a peace talk. However it appears the fall-out may have something to do with Romeo’s new girlfriend Kim Turnbull, who Brooklyn was previously linked to.
Now, another of Brooklyn’s former flames has spoken out about the family.
Lexi Wood, who appears on Bravo show Summer House, which streams on Hayu in the UK, was pictured kissing Brooklyn in 2018.
Their short romance came before he started dating and eventually married actress Nicola.
With all the chaos surrounding the family, model Lexi shared her thoughts on The Viall Files podcast – and she couldn’t have had nicer things to say.
“They’re a beautiful family,” she said. “Victoria, she’s the style icon. They’re the coolest family.”
Speaking of Brooklyn, she said: “Brooklyn is in a great relationship and I’m so happy for him.
“I’m the type of ex that I’m actually friends with a lot of my exes and I want them to move on.”
Of his superstar footballer dad David, she said: “I feel like he was just always Brooklyn’s dad.
“I feel like immediately I didn’t think anything of it. And then he just was his dad.”
Brooklyn isn’t the only nepo baby Lexi has dated though, as she was previously in a relationship with Cindy Crawford’s son Presley.
Lexi said: “Both families have raised such great families.
“And just being so close and having those same like morals and values that I have so innately it was just so nice being around them.”
But it seems as though the Beckhams may now not be as close as they once were – and it could be all because of the WAGs.
Brooklyn was linked to Romeo’s girlfriend Kim in 2016. It’s been reported that he and Nicola are unsure of Kim’s “motives” in dating Romeo.
Nicola has also been dragged into it, with many online trolls blaming her for the apparent family rift, which is of course upsetting for Brooklyn.
The married couple was absent from any family photos posted for David’s birthday celebrations. He also shared a snap with Romeo and Cruz on a fishing trip, adding that Brooklyn was “missed”.
