Brooklyn Beckham’s family and friends are reportedly ‘heartbroken’ over the star’s feud with his wife Nicola Peltz
Brooklyn Beckham’s friend said he “isn’t Brooklyn anymore” and said it was “the most worrying thing” amidst his ongoing family dispute.
Friends have allegedly grown increasingly worried for the 26 year old following his “second” wedding to Nicola Peltz over the weekend, an event his family were not informed about. The rift between Posh and Becks and their daughter-in-law Nicola is such that they only discovered the renewal of wedding vows online.
It appears they were not the only ones left off the guest list for the extravagant celebration, which saw up to 200 attendees. The aftermath has caused concern among friends, with one sharing their “fear, worry and utter, utter devastation” for Brooklyn with the media.
They told the Mail Online: “A point has now been reached where it’s actually no longer about a feud. There is much confusion, fear, worry and utter, utter devastation that this happened without Brooklyn telling any of his family.
“Far from fuelling a feud, it is just very, very worrying for everyone who loves him. They are worried about what is going on over there in the States.”
It’s understood that Brooklyn’s brothers Romeo and Cruz were also unwelcome at the August 2 event. Another friend suggested the brothers have been “fanning the flames” as the feud, which first surfaced around David’s 50th birthday, continues to intensify.
However, the original source revealed to Mail Online that most of the fury has shifted to genuine worry following the vow renewal ceremony.
Concerns extend beyond Brooklyn to encompass his wider family circle, including both grandmothers.
The friend continued: “It isn’t just about David and Victoria anymore. They are heartbroken they don’t see their son, but what about the grandparents? Brooklyn has always been so close to them.
“We are talking about a boy who was raised by his grandmothers Jackie Adams and Sandra Beckham when he was little and his parents were working.
“He adores them, but he didn’t even tell them about this. Imagine being an grandmother missing her grandson and seeing all of this on the internet. And that is the most worrying thing – it’s like Brooklyn isn’t Brooklyn anymore.”
Meanwhile, Nicola’s five brothers and sister Brittany were included on the guest list earlier this month.
Additional attendees featured Harvey Weinstein’s former wife Georgina Chapman, her Oscar-winning actor partner Adrien Brody and actor Oliver Trevena.
Nevertheless, the Mirror revealed yesterday how, despite the recent spectacle, the Beckham clan still maintains hope for a reconciliation.
Our source told the Mirror: “The door is open. No one wants to see this kind of pain exist. There is always hope. At the end of the day. Blood is thicker than water.”
