Brooklyn Beckham has been at war with his family in recent months, with the Beckham’s being snubbed from his vow renewal ceremony with wife Nicola Peltz
Brooklyn Beckham took a swipe at his family during a chat with chef Michel Roux Jr in a recently posted social media video.
The eldest Beckham son has been locked in a bitter row with his parents, David and Victoria, along with the rest of his immediate family for several months.
Most recently, the Beckhams were notably absent from Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz’s vow renewal ceremony, which took place at the actress’s father’s vast estate.
Brooklyn and his spouse posted numerous romantic photos on social media, but fans were split after spotting that his family were completely missing from the celebrations.
Now, wannabe chef Brooklyn has taken to his platform to share a cooking clip promoting his hot sauce brand Cloud23 alongside world-renowned chef Michel, reports the Mirror.
The pair whipped up a gammon dish featuring the hot sauce.
Brooklyn had jetted to London from Los Angeles to film the segment, with him and Michel creating culinary magic in the Wigmore Restaurant at the Langham Hotel.
During the video, he delivered a subtle dig at his family, claiming the meal they were preparing was the sole reason he’d bother returning to England.
Brooklyn was last spotted in London earlier this year, but notably skipped his father’s 50th birthday festivities.
Opening the video, Michel explained: “We are always looking for new dishes here at the Wigmore, but based on great classics. So gammon, egg and chips is a great British classic.”
Brooklyn then looked back fondly at his childhood, saying: “I used to have this every Tuesday night. I love gammon. You can’t go wrong with gammon, egg and chips.”
Michel utilised Brooklyn’s hot sauce to add colour to the meat, ‘just to mark it’ before glazing it in the oven and presenting the dish alongside a fried egg and shoestring fries.
After completing the dish, Michel declared it would be a ‘hot seller’ and predicted it would be ‘flying out the kitchen’. Brooklyn responded: “I’m definitely going to just come to London to have that.”
This follows Brooklyn’s touching speech about his wife in front of 200 guests at their vow renewal ceremony on August 2.
A source close to the pair revealed: “He spoke from the heart – and at the centre of his heart is Nicola, whom he loves very dearly, but also the Peltz family, who have really stuck by his side. He wanted to recognise them all, and was determined to do them all justice.”
Reports of the “heartfelt tribute” to Nicola’s billionaire parents, Nelson and Claudia, will intensify the pain for the Beckham family, who have been excluded from his life. It’s believed there was no comparable tribute to his own parents.
During the private ceremony, Nicola donned a redesigned version of Claudia’s wedding dress, with Nelson officiating the proceedings.
