Celebrity Big Brother fans were left scratching their heads over the unlikely clash between two housemates in the aftermath of Mickey Rourke’s exit from the house
Celebrity Big Brother (CBB) fans have spotted an unlikely new feud between two housemates.
Hollywood hardman Mickey Rourke has been removed from the house for his “threatening and aggressive” language. The 72-year-old was removed from the house after a bust-up with Love Island star Chris Hughes.
He had previously been warned by CBB bosses after making grim remarks about JoJo Siwa’s sexuality – which were branded “homophobic”. However, it seems like the aftermath of his exit is still taking its toll on the house.
On Sunday (April 13), TV star Angellica Bell told off EastEnders star Patsy Palmer during what seemed to be a misunderstanding. Angellica, 49, was chatting to comedian Donna Preston, 38, and Patsy mistakenly thought Donna was planning on leaving the show.
She came over and asked her: “Are you staying?”, prompting Angellica to snap: “You just came over and you asked her if she was okay, what about me?”. She choked back tears and went on: “You rarely ask me if I’m okay.”
Pasty was quick to apologise, explaining: “Oh Ange, I’m sorry, I just thought I heard her say she was leaving.” Angelica added: “Because it does affect all of us”. The soap star agreed and the pair shared a hug after clearing the air.
But fans were baffled by the clash and didn’t understand why things were tense between the pair. One user on X wrote: “What is going on in this CBB. Did Angellica Bell just front Patsy Palmer for not asking how she was?”
Another said: “Can’t stop replaying the Angellica “what about me” moment. Genuinely thought she was joking for a second. Was she having a dig at Patsy?”
A third commented: “I honestly though Angellica was joking in character when she snapped at Pasty, what’s all that about??”. A fourth added: “Literally thought Angellica was joking then but she wasn’t.”
Mickey agreed to leave the house on Saturday (April 12) after a heated argument with Chris Hughes. He exploded at the Love Island star for “eyeballing” him and called him a “c***” during the pirate task.
Big Brother said his language and behaviour had been “seriously unacceptable”, and added: “As a result Big Brother has no option but to ask you to leave the ‘Big Brother’ house.” They had previously warned Mickey about his language during the clash with JoJo.
Mickey has now apologised for his behaviour. He said of his exit: “I blame myself, I know it was my bad. You know, I’ve got a short fuse and I know I upset a lot of people out there, you know. And I’m sorry for that. I’m actually ashamed of myself for getting that hot. I went over the line, you know, I did wrong.
“I guess, like they say, I’m a work in progress. I just wanna pack my bags and leave, you know. I wanted to leave yesterday actually but I wasn’t chosen.”
