A Big Brother star has been rushed to hospital after a horror car crash.

Charley Uchea shot to fame on the 2007 series of Big Brother, where she lasted eight weeks and had fiery rows with Chanelle Hayes. The TV star said she was “lucky to be alive” after being hit by a truck, rendered unconscious and ‘left for dead’ by the driver.

The 40-year-old reality TV star showed off the injuries she received after the horror collision in the States and was seen in a neck brace with cuts on her face. She said she cannot walk and was in “agony” after the crash.

Charley shared a photo of a wrecked truck and claimed the drive left her to die after the crash. She wrote: “Look at the damage this truck did just by hitting me then leaves me [for] dead on the side of the road.”

She said the crash also forced her to cancel a dream trip to Hawaii for her 41st birthday on 30 June, adding: “To think we was flying to Hawaii for my bday and now I’m bed bound ’cause I can’t walk or anything,” she said. “Just in agony. Yes, I’m lucky to be alive but this pain feels like I’m dying.”
