Harriet Cowan, who starred in the fourth season of Amazon Prime’s Clarkson’s Farm, has been started Top Gear rumours after she shared a video with Richard Hammond’s daughter Izzy
The fourth series of Amazon Prime’s smash-hit show, Clarkson’s Farm, introduced Harriet Cowan as a talented farmhand working alongside former Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson. She joined as a temporary stand-in for Kaleb Cooper, who was basking in his newfound celebrity status from the programme and was touring across the UK.
Following Jeremy’s quip that he had “been left in the lurch,” viewers were introduced to the 24-year-old newcomer, who swiftly won over audiences. Yet halfway through the series, Harriet’s assistance was no longer required as Kaleb made his comeback, and she departed the show despite having become a cherished cast member.
But with fans unable to get enough of her, they’ve flocked to her social media accounts, where she regularly posts glimpses of her daily life to her 762,000 TikTok followers, continuing her agricultural work and recently starting a fresh role with the BBC.
However, she switched things up in her most recent post, appearing in a collaboration with a very special guest.
“The collab you never knew you needed! We never claimed to be co-ordinated,” she captioned the clip alongside a crying with laughter emoj.
The footage opens with a grey Mercedes and a tractor parked side by side before both vehicle doors swing open. Harriet, sporting a denim mini skirt and striped T-shirt, was spotted stepping down from the tractor.
Meanwhile, Izzy Hammond, daughter of Top Gear co-presenter Richard Hammond, was spotted climbing out of the Mercedes, sporting a similar striped top and white denim shorts.
The duo then approached each other and recreated the legendary handshake from the 1998 film, The Parent Trap. The two women are seen clapping and clasping each other’s hands before tapping their feet together and spinning around whilst still gripping hands.
They then gathered momentum as they leapt up and performed a chest bump before erupting into giggles.
The brief video clip swiftly caught fans’ attention, with viewers pleading for the pair to front a Top Gear reboot.
“Next Grand Tour Harriet Cowan as Jeremy, Millie Stennett as May, and Izzy Hammond as Richard? ?” one person commented.
They weren’t alone in that thinking, as another viewer remarked: “Next gen of The Grand Tour. Who can we have as May?”.
“Yes let’s gooo Izzy Harriet who will be the third we need a new generation of a car show y’all know,” a third viewer said.
“Amazon Prime needs to jump on a TV show with these two. With guest appearances from certain other people please,” another person suggested.
