Danny Dyer is looking for a role as a parent or grandad of a fox in Peppa Pig and has asked the creators to ‘get in touch’ with him for the role in the hit cartoon show
Movie hardman Danny Dyer has said he’d love a role starring in kids’ cartoon Peppa Pig.
The Marching Powder and Human Traffic actor issued a ‘come and get me plea’ to the show’s makers. Danny, 47, said: “I don’t know what I’d be. Obviously I’d be like the parent or the grandad of the fox or something, I don’t know, but do get in touch.”
Danny was shocked but impressed when his daughter Dani told him Mummy Pig is set to have a new baby for a new episode. She said: “Did you see Mummy Pig was pregnant? Yeah, they did this big thing.
“And it was on the news. Who is it that does This Morning now, Ben Shephard?
“He did the interview with Mummy Pig and he’s like, ‘I hear you’ve got some news for us, Mummy Pig.’
“And Mummy Pig said she’s pregnant! So it must be a new series going out that Mummy Pig is pregnant.”
On their podcast Live and Let Dyers, Danny admitted he was stunned by the plot move.
He said: “Hold on a minute, what? They can’t do that. Mummy Pig’s been f***ed? You’re f***ing joking.
“I don’t know how I feel about this. What, in real life?
“Well they’re delving into some serious f***ing s*** there.”
Love Island star and mum-of-three Dani, 28, said she watches the cartoon with her young kids and reckons “Daddy Pig is filth”.
Danny replied: “Well, I don’t think he’s very agile. I think Mummy Pig, she probably just jumps on him and he has a little squirt.
“Do you know what, no I’m sorry, to the makers of Peppa Pig, do try and get me in it, because I wouldn’t mind a little part in that.
“Yeah, f***ing Peppa Pig… by the way Peppa Pig, not long enough eps (episodes).”
The Daily Star recently reported that the mother of Peppa Pig announced she is pregnant with her third child, telling Good Morning Britain she is ‘excited’.
The voice behind the beloved character of Mummy Pig in the animated show confirmed a new addition to the family.
The exciting news follows the death of actor David Graham, who voiced Grandpa Pig, in September 2024.
Speaking to ITV’s Good Morning Britain, she expressed her excitement at the prospect of expanding her family, stating: “I’m excited to share that our family is getting even bigger because we’re having another baby.”
