EXCLUSIVE: Rylan Clark has teased details on the new series of Paramount+ show which sees 10 singletons looking for love in nothing but their birthday suits
REALITY show Dating Naked UK is getting a major revamp.
The Paramount+ hit is moving to a new location for its second series. There will also be a string of twists to make it even more dramatic.
Host Rylan Clark said: “There are going to be some big changes. It’s really exciting. The location is changing. What we’ve got lined up is going to be brilliant. There will be lots of twists and turns.
“If the daters watched the first season and think they know how the show works, they’re wrong. We want to keep them on their toes. We don’t want them to know what’s coming next.”
Filming on the new series is due to kick off within days and the series is due to stream later this year. The show divided opinion when it launched as featured contestants who were fully naked.
But it pulled in bumper viewing figures to become the biggest show on Paramount+. Rylan said: “I never expected it to be such a big hit. We are very happy. I’m honoured to be a part of it.
“Obviously everyone talked about the contestants being naked, but ultimately the show is about people finding each other.”
The rather exposing format sees 10 singletons looking for love in nothing but their birthday suits. The last series was filmed in Colombia, each episode features dates and an elimination round dubbed ‘The Dumping Ground’. Rylan Clark is the host, too.
Emily read from Stockport joined the show last year as a symbol of “how far I’ve grown as a person” in the last 12 months.
“I’ve spent a lot of time figuring out the fact that I want to be happy with the way that I look and mentally, emotionally, to grow as a person. I wanted to test myself, I guess. And I’m ready to find someone, so I thought, ‘Why not?'” she commented.
“It’s not what you are automatically assuming it’s going to be,” Emily said of the show itself. “People will realise how body positive it is.
All the women got along with each other, it was just a nice atmosphere and for people to realise that we are actually all normal and we don’t have to have a boob job, we don’t have to look a certain way, as long as we’re kind people then just crack on.
