EXCLUSIVE: Daily Star were invited to Jeremy Clarkson’s VIP Summer Party, but the former Top Gear presenter was forced to leave his own event after after realising something important…
Jeremy Clarkson was forced to leave his own party as guests watched.
The Top Gear legend recently hosted Hawkstone’s VIP Summer Party at his pub The Farmer’s Dog and was forced to reveal why he was so keen to shoot off.
Clarkson explained: “Excuse my dishevelled state, we began the harvest at Diddly Squat this very morning! Set off about 8:30am.”
The TV presenter featured Diddly Squat farm in his 2020 series Clarkson’s Farm, which shows him tirelessly toiling away on his land alongside co-stars Kaleb Cooper and Gerald Cooper.
He then joked with the crowd: “Perhaps next year there will be some AI that will enable me not to be here and be in my tractor! For real this year, I do have to get back. We’re going to be going through the night to get the oats in.”
Jeremy explained that it had rained for “the first time in four months” which wreacked havoc with their plans for the harvest.
He also thanked the crowd for supporting his Hawkstone lager business and issued a message for pubs who stock his beloved beer: “That’s really what this place and this beer is all about. As you know, we’re trying to back British farming and we thank you, all of you, who are selling so much Hawkstone because you are backing British farming.”
Hawkstone is “going from strength to strength at the moment” which drove Jeremy to release a very explicit advert, which was recently banned from TV broadcast, to drum up some attention.
Jeremy said that the project was “made at great expense and great difficulty,” but was still banned from TV by the Advertising Standards Authority.
It’s not hard to see why as the short clip shows a choir of farmers loudly singing: “F*** me it’s good,” along to classical music.
After debuting the advert for the first time at his VIP Summer Party, Jeremy asked sarcastically: “Can you see what these people are on about? That’s going to become a social media sensation, I imagine.”
