Former Saturdays singer and Loose Women star Frankie Bridge has sparked speculation about a rift after the TikTok post in which she says the person said something to her years ago
Frankie Bridge has hinted at a feud after saying “you’re dead to me”.
The 36-year-old shot to fame as a singer in The Saturdays with bandmates Rochelle Humes, Mollie King, Vanessa White and Una Healy. Frankie is now a regular on ITV’s Loose Women and is currently holidaying in the Maldives with her footy star husband Wayne Bridge.
But she made a cryptic dig at an unknown person, suggesting they’re no longer friends after something they said to her “five years ago”. Frankie took to TikTok with the video, which showed her sipping on a glass of wine and was soundtracked by Avril Lavigne’s hit What The Hell.
She wrote: “You’re so quiet… Thanks, you said something five years ago and I’ve just realised you’re actually dead to me.” In the other caption of the post, she added: “Takes me a while, but once you’re dead you’re dead.”
Some fans have speculated that the post was about her Saturdays bandmate Rochelle Humes. However, Frankie’s representatives told Daily Mail there is “absolutely no feud” between the pair and those close to Rochelle told The Sun insisted there is “no feud”.
It’s also been reported by The Sun that Frankie and Rochelle has been in a feud with pal Myleene Klass. Those close to Frankie said the post was not aimed at Myleene and that there’s no issue between them. Daily Star has contacted representatives of Frankie, Rochelle and Myleene for comment.
Frankie has previously denied a feud was the reason the band went on an indefinite hiatus in 2014. She told Hello!: “We never fell out. We never really officially broke up or anything, so the option [to get back together] has kind of always been there.”
However, she has admitted that she realised she was struggling with her mental health during her time in the band. She said: “I always had stomach aches.
“Can you remember Pepto Bismol? The pink horrible stuff? That would be in my bag, every day, because I always had like a funny tummy, like nervous stomach. At bedtime I couldn’t breathe properly and things like that.
“So I think like the anxiety was there, like I remember all of that, but I didn’t know what it was. So I’d have like blood tests all the time and things like that and obviously nothing ever came back and back then I was just a ‘worrier’ – y’know, like it wasn’t what it is now, do you know what I mean? But I think for me, the first time I realised that it was like a proper issue was actually in The Saturdays.”
In 2021, Rochelle revealed the band still see one another but hadn’t discussed a reunion. She said: “We all see each other, but we’ve not had a conversation about that. I just can’t imagine doing that again.”
Rochelle, who now hosts This Morning, said her life has changed now that she’s a mum (to three kids with JLS star Marvin Humes). The star told The Sun: “Everything has to fit around them. Even thinking about the band reunion, it wouldn’t work for my life now as my priorities are them.
“For half-term, I took two weeks off and everybody still tried to call me, but I was like: “No, I’m not working.” I’m not on my phone and I’m really present for them.”
