Geordie Shore star Zahida Allen has announced that she has given birth to her first child, a baby girl, who she has named Zyra, as she shared adorable photos from the hospital
A Geordie Shore’s star has welcomed her first child into the world, announcing the arrival of her baby girl on Instagram.
The 31-year-old reality star Zahida Allen, who graced our screens in seasons three and four of the hit MTV series, shared a slew of cute snaps of her newborn, revealing her daughter’s name as Zyra and her birth weight of 7lbs.
Zahida gushed over her bundle of joy, posting: “‘ZYRA 06.05.2025 7lbs.”
She added: “Welcome to the world my baby girl, you are my everything. You have gave my life a new meaning of purpose, love and strength.
“You have made me feel love that I’ve never experienced and now we are on a beautiful journey together. I so enjoyed the first month with you in our new born baby bubble, keeping everything private and adjusting to our new life, you are the most special thing in my life.
“We faced so many challenges and obstacles, but together we overcame everything that was thrown our way and we beat the odds, now we are life partners my mini Z. I promise to care for you, guide you, protect you and give you eternal love. I love you my Zyra”, reports OK!.
The proud mum also posted heart-melting photos of her cradling her little one in the hospital. Celeb pals like Chelsee Healey sent their best wishes, with Chelsee commenting: “congratulations Zyra is perfect,” along with a trio of smitten emojis.
Charlotte Dawson chimed in with a sweet message: “Congrats babe she’s beautiful just like you”, while Marnie Simpson gushed: “Beautifulllll.”
The reality star excitedly announced her pregnancy last month, hinting that the arrival of her bundle of joy was just around the corner. She expressed heartfelt gratitude to her closest pals as she said: “The biggest thank you to my best friends @gemmarowex and @mikaylasmith_xo for being with me every step of the way throughout this incredible journey, and for being involved this shoot which makes these photos even more special. Love you both so much.”
In a touching confession, she admitted that she had kept her pregnancy under wraps because she “didn’t know how to put this into words.”
As time went on, she found the courage to share her joy with her followers. Initially clueless about her pregnancy, Zahida revealed that it was during checks for other health issues involving her stomach and kidneys that she discovered she was expecting, an event that “completely changed my life, but for the better.
“My baby is the biggest blessing of my life,” she elaborated. “I have felt so lucky to be carrying her all this time, feeling her grow and feeling her little kicks become big ones.”
She boldly stated that her life “isn’t ending” but is actually “just beginning again”.
