Glastonbury’s mystery act – Patchwork – may have just been exposed.

The iconic festival has returned to Worthy Farm in Somerset – it kicked off on Wednesday and will dazzle crowds until Sunday (June 29). The 1975 headlined the Pyramid Stage on Friday (June 27) night and other huge acts set to play include the likes of Olivia Rodrigo, Charli XCX, Neil Young and Sir Rod Stewart.

But there’s a secret act called Patchwork billed for the Pyramid Stage on Saturday, filling the 6.15pm slot before RAYE and Neil Young. Fans have been trying to work out just who it could be, and many suggesting it could be either Lorde, PULP or HAIM.

It now it looks like someone has figured it out as a festival-goer spotted a clue on a sound engineer box right by the Pyramid Stage. The source told the Mirror: “I spotted the sound engineer box with Pulp’s name on as they were setting up during the Kaiser Chiefs set.”

“I think it’s definitely people who have got relationships with the festival who will be doing the big slots. An emotional return for one or two, I think. Some unfinished business.”

Ad from SecretGlasto continued: “We’ve got loads of contacts at different stages and record labels and whatever else. And people trust us to be sensible with the information.

“And the bands themselves don’t want empty secret sets do they? So we have had occasions where they have come to us.”

Pulp frontman Jarvis Cocker played a secret DJ set at Glasto on Friday evening – so we know he’s in the area. The group first headlined Glasto in 1995, when they filled in for The Stone Roses, and they headlined again in 1998.

Another SecretGlasto account handler, JB, told the BBC: “Now that we’ve been around for 10 years and have a decent bit of clout, we will contact some of the artists via their inboxes, and quite often, they’re happy to confirm.

“Sometimes they don’t. Sometimes they block us. But generally we’re able to piece all that together fairly quickly
