The late Ozzy Osbourne had an unique way of getting round his wife’s no booze policy after she stole his clothes as the rocker did not mind wearing clothes of the opposite sex to go out on the town
Booze-loving Ozzy Osbourne used to go on the lash dressed as a woman to beat wife Sharon’s strict lockdown rules.
She once left the Black Sabbath wildman naked in a New York hotel room with instructions to stay sober.
Wily Sharon hid all of Ozzy’s clothes, had hotel staff remove the minibar and banned them from delivery room service.
Old pal and rocker Rick Wakeman revealed: “In his heavy drinking days, she had to go do some business and she was terrified that when she left him in the hotel room, he’d be paralytic all the time.
“So she told the hotel to take the mini bar out, nothing to be served to the room and as a safety measure, she took all his clothes away and left him naked in the room.
“When she came back at 4pm and found he was legless, she complained to the hotel staff and they swore blind that nobody had been up there.
“This happened the second day, and on the third day she came back, and he was legless again, lying naked on the bed.
“She said, ‘look Ozzy, I give up. No retribution, how did you do it?”
And Ozzy told her: “It was easy. When you have gone, I pull on one of your dresses and go down the transvestite bar.”
Yes star Rick added: “The man’s a genius.”
The Birmingham-born heavy metal legend died aged 76 last month.
