Julia Fox confirms new sexuality just one year after ‘coming out as lesbian’

Uncut Gems actress Julia Fox told fans that she is attracted to women last year, but the star has now addressed her sexuality once again as she navigates new feelings

Julia has changed her sexual identity since coming out as lesbian in 2024

Julia Fox has confirmed her new sexuality after previously coming out as a lesbian.

The Uncut Gems actress, who is also starring in Jordan Peele’s new sport-horror film HIM, recently spoke to Allure just a year after confirming that she is attracted to women.

The 35-year-old mother-of-one told the publication: “If it were just down to the physical, I’m more attracted to the female body. Men don’t do it for me at all [physically],” adding that she “can be attracted to a man’s mind” because she is a “vibes person”.

However, Julia confirmed that she has “never gotten to full relationship status” with a woman even though she has “definitely [had] crushes” and has “[done] stuff”.

The actress admitted that she “can’t see why a man would be beneficial in her life” and has no reason to “entertain” them,” instead choosing to be “laser-focussed on being a good mom, provider and making her dreams come true”.

She said: “There’s just so much more you can do with your time than waiting around to see if a guy’s going to text you back or not.”

Julia also said that women “are so programmed to perform for men” and said: “So much of my survival was hinged upon men taking care of me.”

Back in July 2024, Julia “confirmed” her sexuality with a TikTok video soon after she revealed herself as two years celibate. Fox used a trending audio that said: “I love when I see a lesbian with their boyfriend. It’s like: ‘Aww, you hate that man. You literally hate him.”

She posted the video with a cheeky apology message: “So sorry, boys!” and admitted that she “was that lesbian,” promising it “won’t happen again”.
