Kanye West has made a bombshell appearance at the trial of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ trial in New York City.
Combs has been on trial for racketeering and the sexual assault of several women in New York for weeks, with his lawyers pleading with the judge to call a mistrial due to claims of false testimony. Things were made more dramatic for the court when a woman was forced out of the courtroom after disrupting proceeding with a foul-mouthed rant at the star.
However, in a shock twist on Friday morning (June 13), rapper and controversial star Kanye West appeared at the US District Courthouse just after 11:20am. Wearing an all-white outfit and a pair of black tinted sunglasses, the star came out of a Maybach in front of the courthouse as the media frenzied around him.
West appeared for the 23rd day of Combs’ trial, surrounded by two bodyguards as he made his way to the courtroom. On his way in, he was seen chatting and shaking hands with members of the public as he was ushered into the building.

As he entered the building, he was greeted by the disgraced RnB star’s son Christian, at the front doors of the courthouse. The pair were seen hugging each other before heading into court for the legal proceedings.
Dogged by reporters as he headed into the building, one reporter from the WABC-NY network asked whether the Stronger singer was attending to support Combs during his legal battle. Kanye responded with a nod and a one-word answer: “Yes.”
Once inside the gallery, reports from the Inner City Press said that West walked in whilst Combs had been surrounded by his legal team. His primary lawyer, March Agnifilo, was also in attendance, as well as fellow legal specialists Nicole Westmoreland and Xavier Donaldson.

One person who was notably absent from West’s appearance at the trial was wife and model Bianca Censori. The pair were confirmed to be in the city on Thursday night (June 12) when paparazzi snapped pics of the pair during a romantic evening out on the town.
According to CNN, the American Boy rapper had already been in contact with Christian about attending the legal proceedings. It is not known whether Bianca had been included within these plans to appear in court.

It comes after proceedings on Thursday were delayed after both prosecutors and the defence raised issues with the presiding judge over the trial. The defence had stipulated with Judge Arun Subramanian that they were suspecting the presence of a person who was not on their list of authorised people.
Combs’ legal team pleaded with the court to notify US Marshals guarding the courtroom that the unwelcome person should not be let into the gallery. According to reports, the person was not identified publicly and also did not show up for the trial, which remains ongoing.
