Bianca Censori, the architect and model turned wife of Kanye West, is no stranger to causing a stir with her daring fashion choices. From rocking sheer, nude bodysuits in Italy to turning heads with her nearly-naked appearance on the Grammys red carpet, she’s always one to watch.
However, despite the backlash to her previous high profile stunt, on Monday, March 3, Bianca set Instagram ablaze by posting another risqué nude photo of herself. The cheeky snap, which shows her perched on the floor with nothing but sheer white curtains for company, cleverly conceals her modesty while flaunting her figure.
She paired the look with some light-coloured heels and styled her hair in loose blonde curls, all captured in a square Polaroid-style image.
While Bianca left the post without a caption, her followers were quick to shower her with praise in the comments section. One fan exclaimed, “Bianca dropping tasteful nudes,” while another was simply “OBSESSED,” flooding their comment with fire, heart, and hands-up emojis.
A third chimed in, calling her “Beautiful Bianca,” reports the Mirror US.
However, despite the love from fans, Instagram’s strict no-nudity policy means the photo could be short-lived on the platform. Instagram’s Community Guidelines are clear: nudity is a no-go, except for certain exceptions like post-mastectomy scarring and women breastfeeding.
Artistic nudity in paintings and sculptures also gets a pass, but it remains to be seen if Bianca’s creative attempt will stand the test of Instagram’s rules.
The site has given a stern warning, stressing their position on racy content: “It is our policy to remove content that violates our community guidelines,” and further explained the potential for harsh actions, “We may remove entire posts if either the imagery or associated captions violate our guidelines. We also may disable entire accounts for violations of our Community Guidelines. We may work with law enforcement, including when we believe that there’s risk of physical harm or threat to public safety.”
The potential ban isn’t the first time Bianca has been caught stirring up headlines. Only a few weeks back, she and Kanye grabbed attention at the Grammys’ red carpet as she sported a black feathered coat.
But it was Bianca’s next move that turned heads; she shed her coat to flaunt a skin-tight, entirely sheer mini dress that covered nothing and left jaws dropping – a risky act that could’ve had legal consequences. Under the watchful eye of California Penal Code 314(1), Bianca could have been found guilty of indecent exposure as intentionally flashing one’s naked body or privates in front of anyone who might be upset or offended by it is a crime.
However, the code also stripulates that the action must be both “wilful and lewd” for it to be deemed criminal.
