Former glamour model Katie Price has reportedly splashed out around £100k on cosmetic work over the years and she’s now revealed she’s flown to Turkey to get more
Katie Price has flown to Turkey once again to get more cosmetic surgery.
The 47-year-old reality star has reportedly forked out around £100k on plastic surgery over the years. Katie has had 17 boob jobs as well as multiple facelifts, fillers, Botox and a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL), which she regrets the most.
The mum-of-five has now she’s jetted off to Turkey again to get more cosmetic work done. She took to Instagram with a photo that showed her lying down on a bed at a clinic wearing a blue hairnet and hospital gown.
Katie didn’t reveal what type of cosmetic work she was having done, but did confirm she was going under the knife. She captioned the snap: “Going down for surgery.”
Before sharing the selfie, Katie posted a series of photos, including one of her in the back of a car heading to her scheduled operation and one of her boyfriend, MAFS UK star JJ, in the same vehicle. The pair have been together for over a year and a half.
The Page 3 icon has admitted being addicted to cosmetic surgery. Speaking on Louis Theroux’s podcast, she said: “That’s another thing I have to get to grasps with myself about the surgery thing. I don’t know if it’s body dysmorphia or what I’m trying to gain out of it.”
“I think I need therapy when it comes to surgery. I wouldn’t say I’ve got body dysmorphia, but there’s obviously an underlying something why I feel the need to get surgery, or why I look in the mirror and think, ‘I want to change that, or that’. What you’ve got to remember is that I’m four years away from being 50 so I’m entitled to [do] whatever I want to my face.”
Katie recently opened up about the cosmetic op she regrets the most. She admitted the BBL she got in Turkey left her in agony and and believed it look right on her.
A BBL is a form of buttock augmentation that involves transferring fat from other parts of the body to the buttocks to enhance its size and shape. Asked about her biggest surgery regret on Katherine Ryan’s podcast, What’s My Age Again, Katie said: “I tried that BBL abroad where they take your own fat and put it in your bum. It was so painful. And it just did not look right on me.”
But Katie insisted she’d never get surgery in England ever again. She said: “I would never have surgery in England again. Ever, ever. I’d always have it abroad.”
Despite her BBL regret, Katie recently got filler added to her bottom. Revealing she was back at a clinic, she told fans: “So the bum is done! Here’s a little sneaky, beaky, booky!”
Katie showed fans where she’s had all of her surgeries in a Snapchat video, posted earlier this year. She said: “So the work I’ve had done on my face is, god where to I bloody start, nose…
Gesturing to the side of her forehead before pointing at her cheekbone, Katie continued: “I’ve had here lifted, here lifted…” Katie then showed the underneath of her nose and just above her lip and added: “I’ve had under here done but I wouldn’t recommend anyone do that…”
She added: “I’ve had lip filler, my teeth done, I’m trying to think if I’ve had anything else. That’s it.”
