Former glamour model Katie Price has jetted off to Turkey to get more cosmetic work done and has given fans a glimpse at the results with a pic of her bandaged face
Katie Price has gone under the knife once again.
The 47-year-old reality star recently jetted off to Turkey for more cosmetic surgery, but hadn’t revealed what procedure she was getting. She has had 17 boob jobs as well as multiple facelifts, fillers, Botox and a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL), which she now regrets getting.
But the former glamour model has now revealed she went to Istanbul to get another facelift. She’s given fans a look at her brand new face, which was covered in bandages after the procedure.
The reality star’s skin was stretched back by the bandages, with her cheeks pulled back with stitching tape. Although the results won’t be fully visible yet until the skin heals, it’s safe to say Katie looked very youthful in the brand new snaps.
Before the op, Katie was seen lying down on a hospital bed, wearing a blue hairnet and hospital gown. She captioned the snap, shared on Instagram: “Going down for surgery.”
Before sharing the selfie, Katie posted a series of photos, including one of her in the back of a car heading to her scheduled operation and one of her boyfriend, MAFS UK star JJ, in the same vehicle. The pair have been together for over a year and a half.
Katie has admitted being hooked on cosmetic surgery. Speaking on Louis Theroux’s podcast, she said: “That’s another thing I have to get to grasps with myself about the surgery thing. I don’t know if it’s body dysmorphia or what I’m trying to gain out of it.”
“I think I need therapy when it comes to surgery. I wouldn’t say I’ve got body dysmorphia, but there’s obviously an underlying something why I feel the need to get surgery, or why I look in the mirror and think, ‘I want to change that, or that’. What you’ve got to remember is that I’m four years away from being 50 so I’m entitled to [do] whatever I want to my face.”
The Page 3 icon hasn’t always enjoyed the results of her surgeries in the past, admitting the BBL she got in Turkey left her in agony and and believed it look right on her. A BBL is a form of buttock augmentation that involves transferring fat from other parts of the body to the buttocks to enhance its size and shape.
Asked about her biggest surgery regret on Katherine Ryan’s podcast, What’s My Age Again, Katie said: “I tried that BBL abroad where they take your own fat and put it in your bum. It was so painful. And it just did not look right on me.”
But Katie insisted she’d never get surgery in England ever again. She said: “I would never have surgery in England again. Ever, ever. I’d always have it abroad.”
Despite her BBL regret, Katie recently got filler added to her bottom. Revealing she was back at a clinic, she told fans: “So the bum is done! Here’s a little sneaky, beaky, booky!”
Katie showed fans where she’s had all of her surgeries in a Snapchat video, posted earlier this year. She said: “So the work I’ve had done on my face is, god where to I bloody start, nose…
Gesturing to the side of her forehead before pointing at her cheekbone, Katie continued: “I’ve had here lifted, here lifted…” Katie then showed the underneath of her nose and just above her lip and added: “I’ve had under here done but I wouldn’t recommend anyone do that…”
She added: “I’ve had lip filler, my teeth done, I’m trying to think if I’ve had anything else. That’s it.”
