Katie Price is turning 47 today, and if a recent report is anything to go by, then she already has a present in mind for herself – but it won’t leave her boyfriend happy
Never-single Katie Price might be putting herself back on the market for her birthday. The star, who has been married three times, is dating Married At First Sight UK star JJ Slater, though their relationship has been under scrutiny in recent weeks.
She even admitted she maybe didn’t feel too happy in it, telling Paul C Brunson on his podcast that she didn’t feel “free” with JJ.
Now, as she turns 47, it seems she might be about to cut things off for good, after their relationship came to the end of its “shelf life”. And ditching JJ today would bring her the “ultimate gift to herself – freedom”.
A source claimed to Closer: “Katie likes to throw bombshells, she’s all about getting a reaction and she loves to whip up a frenzy. That being said, she’s grown bored of her relationship. She craves excitement and drama in her life.
“The grass is always greener on the other side for Katie.
“Pals think she’s waiting until her birthday and then she’ll ditch JJ as the ultimate gift to herself – freedom. He is no longer a priority in her life, he’s last on the pecking order of importance these days, and he knows it.”
There has been a lot of speculation as to the status of their relationship as of late, after fans noticed she had seemingly removed pictures of him from her Instagram feed.
Then days later she spoke on the We Need To Talk podcast, when dating expert Paul told her she should feel “free” and “happy” with her romantic partners.
She told him: “I’ve never had that in any relationship. Never had any of them … I’ve never known what a healthy relationship.”
The former glamour model went on: “JJ, he’s the most kind, genuine, easy-going, chilled person. But do I feel my happiest and do I feel free? No. It’s not a reflection on him, maybe that’s what I need to change for myself.”
It’s been reported that JJ isn’t a fan of the Pricey’s flirtatious personality with others. A source told Closer: “When they’re out together, Katie plays up to her persona and tells some guys to DM her. She thinks JJ is overreacting – and she’s made it clear she won’t stop.”
Katie and JJ have a 14-year age gap. They met after he appeared on E4 series Married At First Sight UK.
She has five children from three previous relationships: eldest son Harvey from a romance with Dwight Yorke, Junior and Princess from her marriage to Peter Andre, and Jett and Bunny, whose dad his Katie’s ex-husband Kieran Hayler.
