Katy Perry was visibly fuming as she “confronted” a fan about ‘DMing’ her husband, Pirates of the Caribbean star Orlando Bloom, at one of her recent concerts
Katy Perry halted her gig to accuse a concertgoer of texting “her man”.
The singer left fans gobsmacked by playfully “accusing” a concert-goer of DMing her husband, Orlando Bloom. The 40 year old pop star was performing at the T-Mobile Arena in Paradise Valley when the “incident” took place.
Fans were taken aback when Katy, midway through her set, let rip at the fan. Katy knelt down to address them and shockingly accusing him of sending numerous private messages to her actor husband.
In a video captured by TikTok user 143katyperry, Katy can be seen telling the fan: “I know why you’re here. Listen, if you keep DM-ing my man… you’ve been doing it for months, ever since the residency. You didn’t come to see me play.”
The fan was visibly thrilled by the interaction as the Firework singer continued: “If you keep on DM-ing my man I’m going to have you removed – seriously, get your own life,” reports the Mirror.
She raised her voice as she added: “I don’t want you, Kyle. I’m his wife. I’m his, he’s mine… stay the f*** away.”
It soon became clear that Katy’s tirade was scripted and cleverly linked into one of her latest tracks. Fans screamed in anticipation as they realised the star was about to perform her 2024 single I’m His, He’s Mine.
The songstress recently described herself as feeling like a “human piñata” after her recent trip on the Blue Origin space flight. Joining Katy in zero gravity was Jeff’s other half Lauren Sanchez, Gayle King, Aisha Bowe, Amanda Nguyen and Kerianne Flynn.
The whole crew aboard the spacecraft raved about their monumental trip, declaring it ‘life-changing’, but they weren’t met with universal applause – some celebs and the public were largely disapproving.
Katy hit back via an Insta fan page comment section to show appreciation for her supporters, posting: “We’re in this beautiful and wild journey together. I can continue to remain true to myself, heart open and honest especially because of our bond.”
Proclaiming her love for her followers, she reflected on how they’ve grown together and expressed excitement to meet them worldwide in the coming year.
She continued: “When the “online” world tries to make me a human piñata, I take it with grace and send them love, cause I know so many people are hurting in so many ways and the internet is very much so a dumping ground for unhinged and unhealed.”
