Hollywood actor Leonardo DiCaprio has a track history for dating way younger than him – but he has finally addressed his love life in a recent interview with Esquire UK
Leonardo DiCaprio has finally opened up about dating at 50 and admits there’s “no time to waste” when it comes to love.
The Hollywood actor, who’s spent decades making headlines for his string of glamorous girlfriends who often don’t seem to make it past 25, says he’s now all about honesty, even if it means the romance ends before it’s begun.
In a candid chat for Esquire UK’s Autumn issue, Leo revealed that hitting the milestone birthday has made him rethink everything. He told the publication: “Turning 50 creates a feeling like you have a desire to just be more honest and not waste your time.”
The Titanic legend, who’s been linked to Italian model Vittoria Ceretti, 27, since last summer, added that watching his mum grow older has inspired him to cut the small talk and get straight to the point.
He added: “I look at my mother, for example, and she just says exactly what she thinks and wastes no time. She spends no time trying to fake it.”
“Being more upfront and risking having things fall apart… risking disagreements or even going your separate ways, it’s just that you don’t want to waste your time anymore.”
Leo has dated a string of stunning models in the past including his five-year romance with Gisele Bündchen, who he started when she was 18, along with Bar Refaeli, and Camila Morrone.
In 2022, it was reported that he was seeing supermodel Gigi Hadid after they were spotted together in New York. But a source shut down the claims to DailyMail.com and said: “Leo is very single right now… he wants something more mature in the relationship department.”
The insider also said they he was sick of the constant jokes about his “under-25” dating pattern and added: “He wants to ditch this image once and for all. It really bothers him that it continues to follow him.”
