Love Island star eyes up future TV goals after show as she shares career before fame

EXCLUSIVE: Love Island beauty Megan Forte Clark has revealed her big telly plans for after she leaves the ITV show – but will she be leaving empty handed or with a new fella?

Love Island newbie has shared her big telly goals for the future as she chats about her career pre-villa.

ITV beauty Megan Forte Clark spoke to Daily Star as she prepares to step foot into the new ITV villa and do her best to find the perfect match. But outside the show, Megan has a love for acting and has a strong musical theatre background.

Megan told us that she hadn’t been on any to shows yet but she would love to dabble in being a screen star in the future.

She said: “I graduated uni July last year, so I’ve not done like, anything really professionally. I did a panto at Christmas.

“Growing up, I’ve always said I’d love to do Strictly, because it just looks fun.” When asked if she would be up for appearing on Netflix shows, she answered: “Who wouldn’t want to do that?”

When quizzed on whether she will be grilled for her acting background and if she thinks it will affect her time in the villa in regards to her co-stars opinions – just like Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, she said: “I do musical theatre, so it’s not very natural acting. But they might think I’m going to break into song anytime around the house.”

Megan’s dating life has been “hellish” on the outside, with her comparing herself to a “modern day Bridget Jones”.

She explained: “My day life is hell. I am the queen of being ghosted. I would compare myself to a modern day Bridget Jones, it just never seems to be done well.

“I’ve done the whole dating apps, the whole Hinge, Tinder thing. It’s just awkward meeting up, and it never goes well for me. Anyways, I know some people find their husbands on Hinge but what Hinge are you using?!”

When asked about her type on paper and her celebrity crushes, Meg revealed there’s on famous face that comes to mind.

The Irish lass shared: “I tend to go for personalities over looks, which is not something that’s worked very well in the past. So I’d say, If I’ve to narrow down a type, I love like a Timothee Chalamet-esque vibe, a bit Tim Burton.

“But again, that has not worked well for me in the past. I do love a ginger as well, but I think that’s the Irish in me. But now I’m like, right, let’s switch it up and everyone in the villa will be fit, so I’m ready.”
