A Love Island star has been found guilty of assault.
Reality TV star Katie Salmon, real name Katie Humphreys, appeared on the second season of the ITV dating show. She reportedly attacked her former boyfriend’s “second girlfriend” with a hairdryer and a stiletto heel in a street in Kettering, Northampton.
The 29-year-old reportedly attacked the woman after discovering that she was having an affair with her partner of four years. Katie Humphreys was found guilty of assault on a person causing them actual bodily harm and will be sentenced on 15 September.
Her former boyfriend Anthony Kelly, who has since died, allegedly began a relationship with Jyssica Memory which was kept hidden from Humphreys. He also allegedly promised Jyssica a luxurious life in Thailand.

The victim was waiting outside for a friend when she was “ambushed” by Anthony and Humphreys, and Northampton Crown Court heard that Humphreys kicked and punched her around 10 times.
She was reportedly heard shouting: “Did you really think you were going to Thailand with my husband?” and the court was told she repeatedly called her a “f***ing little b***h”.

A witness said that Jyssica curled herself up on the floor and video footage of the attack was shown to the court.
Jyssica’s suitcase was emptied in the street, her clothes and underwear were thrown, she had clumps of hair ripped from her head and received two black eyes.
Prosecutor Quiana Fitzpatrick said: “This was a planned ambush. They decided they would be speaking to her face to face. It was planned because [Kelly] lied to get the victim to the scene.”

However Humphreys alleged that she was a victim and had been “frightened for her life”. She later went to Northampton General Hospital for a split lip and received seven stitches.
