Former Married at First Sight UK stars Erica Roberts and Sacha Jones have been locked in a bit of a war of words since they were in the Channel 4 marriage experiment
Married at First Sight star Erica Roberts’ feud with Sacha Jones has ramped up, with Erica saying the situation is “disgusting”.
The pair have clashed since the recent explosive reunion show, after Erica – who was a 2023 contestant – is said to have claimed that Sacha’s ex Ross McCarthy slid into her DMs when he was still with Sacha. Both reality stars have since given different versions of the beef, with each accusing the other of coming for them.
Tension flared when Erica claimed on the You & Me podcast, which she hosts alongside former Traitors star Meryl Williams, that when Sacha learned what Ross had done she dropped to the floor. However, Sacha said on TikTok that it was “absolute lies”.
“She literally tells me and I’m like, ‘What?'” she said. “And then Orson (Nurse) goes to her, ‘Oh I’m the only one you haven’t been messaging’ or ‘Why haven’t you been in my DMs?’ Something flirty… then him and her start having a conversation.” Sacha has found religion since her first appearance on the Channel 4 show, and also suggested that Erica poked fun at her about it.
Erica has now responded to the claims in a TikTok of her own, denying she had been “mocking” Sacha’s religion and saying that she and Meryl had been laughing at her own “wording” because she used the phrase “God and stuff”.
She said she had been exposed to a lot of “hate” and a “pack mentality” because of the row. “The fact that she has made a nine minute video on me all because I said she fell to the floor and cried, I think is absolutely ridiculous,” she said.
Erica claimed that comments from people sticking up for her were being deleted.
“I am not sure if that is what she is all about or what she preaches about being about… I think it’s disgusting,” she went on. “We were not laughing that she supports God and is a Christian,” said the star.
Erica also refuted the suggestion that she is “fame hungry”, implying that was actually Sacha, and said the whole issue had been “blown way out of proportion”.
“It genuinely has taken a toll on me,” she said. Sharing a link to her TikTok, she wrote: “I tried to resolve this privately but this has gotten way out of hand now… I hope this clears some things up and it can be put to bed.”
