Prince Jackson, 28, has announced his engagement to girlfriend Molly after eight years of dating the couple are set to get married in the near future
The eldest son of pop legend Michael Jackson is set to tie the knot with his girlfriend Molly after an eight-year romance. Prince Jackson, 28, shared the joyous news on Instagram, posting a series of snaps of the couple set to his late father’s 1987 hit ‘I Just Can’t Stop Loving You’. He expressed his excitement for the “next chapter” in their lives together.
In his heartfelt post, Prince wrote: “8 years down [infinity] to go. Molly and I have spent a lot of time together and made incredible memories.
“We’ve travelled the world, graduated and grown so much together. I’m excited for this next chapter in our lives as we continue to grow and make great memories. I love you babs.”
Back in 2018, Prince opened up about his relationship with Molly during an interview with People magazine, revealing that they work well together because they “balance each other out”.
He told the magazine: “In everything there’s an important balance. I think that I’m a certain way, and she’s very – I don’t want to say opposite -but complementary in a way that we balance each other out. I’m more aggressive, she’s a little softer.”
Prince also shared how his partner helps him to “see things through a different light”, adding: “It helps us stay well-rounded.”
This happy announcement comes just weeks after Prince’s sister, Paris, 27, called off her engagement to musician Justin Long. The couple had got engaged in December after two years of dating, but she recently announced that they have decided to part ways.
Paris responded to a post by the Daily Mail on X, which had shared images of her crying and walking alone, attributing her emotional state to the anniversary of her father’s passing.
She corrected the narrative and disclosed her recent breakup, commenting: “Those are breakup tears. Y’all are fkn reaching again (sic).”
People magazine later verified that Paris and Justin had called off their engagement. This news followed shortly after Paris had shared details about her wedding preparations and confirmed a date for the ceremony.
Speaking to Access Hollywood, she revealed: “The dress is being made, the venue has been picked and the date has been picked by an astrologer, because I’m from LA. I’m all about the crystals and the astrologer, and all that stuff.”
