Millie Bobby Brown fans can’t stop gushing that she is “all grown up” after spotting her on multiple red carpets looking very different to her Stranger Things era
Millie Bobby Brown has left jaws on the floor.
After appearing at the SAG Awards on Saturday looking as glamorous as ever, some fans were amazed to discover Millie’s real age. The actress first played El in Stranger Things back in 2016 when she was just 11-years-old. A decade later, Millie is now 21 and married to Jake Bongiovi, son of Jon Bon Jovi.
The starlet wore a floor length silk gown in a gorgeous peach shade and styled her hair in a slick-back style to emphasise her features.
The Stranger Things actress wore a full face of makeup with smokey eyeshadow, nude lipstick and a bronzed complexion to show off her natural beauty. Many Netflix fans are used to seeing Millie looking a lot younger as Eleven in Stranger Things, so to see her dressed up sent the internet into a frenzy.
On X/Twitter, Millie fans said that they “literally had to double check” after seeing snaps from her recent red carpets. Someone said: “It’s weird watching them [Stranger Things cast] grow up before our eyes. I don’t think I’ll ever get used to it.”
One fan said it was like “watching her own daughter grow up” while another wrote: “Eleven is all grown up.”
“Is she really only 21?” asked another X/Twitter user, while others chimed in that she looked “elegant,” “stunning,” “beautiful,” and “mature”. Millie is best known for her role in Stranger Things, but the actress has also appeared in other big-budget productions such as Godzilla: King of Monsters, Enola Holmes and Damsel.
Back in 2018, just two years after the first series of Stranger Things aired, she was featured in the Time 100 list of the world’s most influential people and appointed UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador. This made Millie the youngest person ever to be selected.
Her middle name Bobby was given to her by her father as a child and she is deaf in one ear. The starlet was born with partial hearing loss and over time this worsened.
