Model Rhian Sugden has landed her “dream” job – running a doggy day care centre. The glamour girl said she “can’t believe this is real” after taking over The Bark Yard kennel and pooch grooming operation. Rhian, 38, said she felt “so lucky” to be making a “bunch of new furry mates”.
It comes days after she underwent dramatic boob reduction surgery that took her down five cup sizes. She moaned her chest had rocketed to 34HH since giving birth to son George leaving her unable to go braless or wear sexy lingerie.
Rhian plans to carry on modelling but has brought in a team of “the best staff” to run the operation in Stockport, Cheshire, when she has assignments.
She posted on Instagram: “Dream Come True! Today I got the keys to @ thebarkyard.co.uk. I’m fully licensed, level 3 canine care qualified and I’ve already made a bunch of new furry mates.
“I honestly can’t believe this is real. So lucky to have the best staff helping run things day-to-day as I won’t be there all the time (wish I could be!) because of other work stuff, but the days I am there will be my absolute fave. Let’s do this!”
She hailed it a “new chapter” in her life.
According to the centre’s website it is a “home-from-home for dogs who like to play hard, nap harder and go home smelling slightly of biscuits”.
“Whether your pup needs a place to burn off energy while you work or just wants to hang out with their furry mates, The Bark Yard is the ultimate playground for good boys, cheeky girls, and serial sock thieves alike,” it said.
“Daycare, cuddles, zoomies, and plenty of sniff-time, it’s basically a social club for dogs (with better hygiene). Come for the fun, stay for the belly rubs.”
Fees range from £22 for a half-day to £280 for 10 days.
