Molly-Mae Hague has opened up about rekindling her romance with the boxer
Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury appear to be back on with the Love Island star’s reunion journey charted in new episodes of reality series, Molly-Mae: Behind It All.
The pair recently took a trip to Dubai in March that seemed to seal the deal on their rekindled love. Molly-Mae couldn’t help but gush over their magical getaway in the final moments of her Amazon Prime Video documentary, which just dropped three fresh episodes today (May 9).
“Dubai was picture perfect, like it was just the best trip ever. It literally just felt like everything I wanted it to be, and more,” she shared with fans. “It was exactly what we needed. All the noise of everyone just switched off, everyone’s opinions. Nothing mattered. It was just like us in our bubble. She (Bambi) had the best time ever.”
The pair, who met on Love Island back in 2019, seem to be taking things slow and steady, with Molly-Mae sharing plans to move slowly back in with Tommy. “Things are looking so much better for us. I’m gonna start spending more time at Tommy’s house, keeping things slow and not rushing anything.”
Molly-Mae offered a honest assessment of her future with Tommy, stating: “But as always, I always say I don’t know what the future holds. I don’t think it’s gonna be a plain sailing future. I don’t. That’s just me being honest. I think we’re still gonna have bumps.”
Her vision for their future remains unchanged, as she expressed: “The dream is still the same that, you know, we’ll get to a place one day when we will all be happy in that house together and have more children, hopefully, and just have a really nice, happy life together.”
Molly-Mae’s ultimate goal for their relationship is clear: “That’s all I’ve ever wanted for us. I don’t want to get too excited, but I’m getting glimmers of what I always wanted, which is my family. I know we have got something completely worth saving.”

Molly-Mae and Tommy, who share a two year old daughter named Bambi, ended their relationship last summer without fully disclosing the reasons. The initial episodes of the Prime Video series revealed that their break-up was caused by a combination of issues, including his struggles with alcohol and malicious rumours about his behaviour.
The new episodes also show that Molly’s sister Zoe still seems to have concerns about Tommy’s ability to manage his past drinking problems. Zoe inquires if Tommy has addressed these issues, and Molly responds: “Yeah, obviously he knows it’s the drink. He’s not drank now, like for what four months. But no, I don’t think the drinks gone away forever.”
When asked if drinking could still be a problem for them, Molly replies: “Could drink still be a problem for us? Potentially yes. But the break up showed I was serious.
“He’s really, really like, changing as a person. I love Tommy so much and I love our family so much that I’m willing to ride the wave. And that’s not something that everyone wants to do, but it’s something that I’m willing to do because I want my family.”
In January, Tommy spoke to Men’s Health about their separation, attributing it to his struggles with alcohol. He denied all allegations of cheating, saying: “All I’ve been seeing for the past six months, ‘Cheater!’, ‘He slept with me!’, ‘He slept with this girl, he slept with that girl!’ Complete and utter b******s.
“We broke up because I had a problem with alcohol and I couldn’t be the partner that I wanted to be anymore. It kills me to say it, but I couldn’t…Cheating was never a thing. You can ask Molly this yourself. It was the drink and the drink is not a good thing. You need to get a grip of it.
“If you’re in the same spot as me where you just think that it’s going to cure all your problems, it doesn’t. You just wake up even worse and you want to drink more to try and feel happy again. That’s the cycle of it.”
In the new series, Molly shared: “I understand why Zoe would have her reservations and worries about Tommy and I getting back together. I told her everything, and I think she’s not someone that can hear that stuff and then be like, Okay, let’s move on.”
Ahead of Bambi’s second birthday party with her family, Molly hinted at the possibility of expanding their family by expressing her wish for Bambi to have a sibling.
She shared her thoughts on giving Bambi a sibling, stating: “I know I’ll have to have another baby at some point, because there’s just no way I’m having her being a single child, I’ve seen her play with other children. Like, she lights her up.”
Despite Tommy not being present at the birthday celebration, he makes brief appearances via video call and shares tender moments with Molly over FaceTime.
As the series wraps up, Zoe starts to warm up to the idea of Molly and Tommy getting back together, and Molly’s parents voice their wish for the couple to reunite in an ideal world. Zoe comments: “I’ve always said he’s a lovely person. He makes me laugh, he’s polite, he’s kind, he’s a great dad. I’m happy to move forward with Tommy if you two could be together and him treat you well.”
