Molly-Mae Hague ‘feels torn’ and ‘under pressure’ as she struggles with new life

Molly-Mae Hague has opened up on her struggles with fame in recent months, and now a source close to the social media star has claimed she is ‘feeling torn’

Molly-Mae Hague has always been open about her journey through fame, from her tumultuous relationship with Tommy Fury to handling harsh trolls. However, an insider now suggests she’s finding it tough.

Since rising to stardom on Love Island in 2019, Molly-Mae has carved out a successful career as an influencer, entrepreneur and reality TV star. Yet, as she confessed in a recent vlog, it’s not as straightforward as it appears – she finds regular family outings challenging due to the overwhelming number of people wanting selfies or to chat with her and Tommy.

The source revealed: “Molly-Mae has found herself at a bit of a crossroads. She’s feeling torn as, on one hand, she’s loving family life and the normality of that, but on the other hand, she really feels the pressure when they leave the house, because the attention they get is just unbelievable.

“They have no time for themselves, everyone wants a piece of them – she’s instantly recognised. Everyone starts mobbing her and though she adores her fans, that can be really difficult to process.

“She knows it’s the price of fame and she loves her career – but it’s tough for her, and the attention right now is too much. It’s putting pressure on her at a time when she wants to concentrate on getting back to how she and Tommy were at the beginning.”, reports OK!.

Molly, who celebrated her 26th birthday on 26 May, is trying to focus on her relationship with Tommy after they reignited their romance earlier this year.

In her latest vlog, Molly-Mae Hague described the challenges of being in the public eye during family getaways, upset by onlookers filming them while she attempted to celebrate her birthday with Tommy, 26, and their two year old tot Bambi at Disneyland Paris.

Molly-Mae, no stranger to candid discussions about her struggles with anxiety and the intense scrutiny that comes with fame, shared with her YouTube followers: “Obviously, when people see Tommy and I out at the minute it’s a bit like, taboo, and so many people are filming on the sly.”

The former Love Island sensation expressed: “At Disneyland, when I was with Bambi, it’s quite hard to navigate that. When you have a toddler, you’re out with your partner, and there’s already a little bit of a new thing that you’re back out together, and you’re trying to navigate that, and then you can see people looking and staring and filming.”

On the topic of her special day, she mentioned: “It was my birthday as well, and it was just kind of tricky to figure out if we were having boundaries, or there weren’t any boundaries.”
